Today is World Cancer Day. We think just about everyone has had the evil of cancer touch their lives in some way. We join together with others across the blogs to remember all those lost to the ravages of cancer and to lend our support and prayers to those currently dealing with it.
We hope that one day there will be a different celebration:

I think anyone you ask would say they have had a family member that has had some kind of cancer. I hope someday that there is a cure for all cancers.

We join you in that hope! We've had loved ones who have both lost and won the cancer battle, and it's almost harder to see someone you love go through it than anything else.
Thank you for this. My father died of cancer last July.
I also volunteer for the American Cancer Society.
