I don't know what happened, but I am lost without Ciara. I keep looking for her and sniffing for her, but I can't find her. Mom tries to tell me it takes time, but I know she is hurting too. She and Dad say they will make things better and find somePup for me (and them), but they aren't having any luck. Heck, they are hurting too. Sometimes life just sucks.

Dear sweet boy, we know how much you miss your lovely sister. We do, too. Remember though, that she is no longer suffering ... as hard as that may be, and for her, that is so much better. Though she can never ever be replaced in your heart, the day will come when she will send a new little sibling your way ... be patient, it will happen ... until then, give your Mom and Dad all the love you can. They need a lot of it right now ...

I know exactly how you feel, buddy. When Joey dog crossed over the bridge, I looked all over the house for him and sometimes howled so maybe I could find him. I don't do that so much anymore, but I still miss him a lot. Ghostwriter still has lots of tears for Joey and now for your dear Ciara. Things will get better. It just takes time.

Life does suck at times. And hard for a Solo Sibe to understand....especially one who has never been an Only dog.

Oh Lightning. :( Your sister was such a special grrl. I know how much you're hurting. When my sissy died, I found out that if I comforted Momma and she comforted me, we both wound up limping through it. It seems impossible, but it will get better eventually. And you have all your furiends in Blogville who love you and will support you!

I am just getting caught up on your news. To tell you that I'm sorry doesn't begin to say it. I feel like I've lost one of my own dogs, because you shared your beautiful Ciara with all of us. From so many corners of the world, we all cheered her on, and applauded when she won her battles, and we loved when she enjoyed her good days. I hope you've found comfort in knowing that Ciara's loss is being shared by many like me who will miss her, and not forget her. Prayers of peace and comfort to all of you at what I know is a sad time.
