Monday Mums

November sure did bring a change in our weather.  It is a cold, damp, dreary, rainy Monday.

Since it is supposed to turn very cold by midweek, Mom finally got a photo of our front porch mums.  She lets me go without my cone when I go out for my short walk.  I try to hide when we go back in, but she always finds me.   She says I don't go five seconds without trying to lick my scab.

She took a pic of that ugly scab today.

She isn't seeing any real improvement in it since last Thursday when I saw the surgeon.  It IS pretty ugly, isn't it?  She is keeping a close eye on the pink part on the upper left side of it.  But if you look at the lower right corner of the photo, you can see that I have pretty pink skin any way.  She thinks the pinkness near the scab is just the newly healed skin.  C'mon, you scabby thing, start falling off for my sake!!!

  3. Oh....don't you look Awwwww Monday gawgeous with the mums.
Lightning that is some scab. I wonder if the laser treatments make it look different. Oh good buddy I hate that it itches. I have some skin allergies and every so often they act up and oh do I scratch. I probably need a cone sometimes.
Loads of hugs and healing thoughts to the scab. I do think the pink skin looks healthy though.

  9. You poor baby. It will heal when it's ready and I'd be doing the same thing mom is doing and not letting you lick that off. It needs to come of naturally. I know it's hard Lightening, but we're all cheering you on.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday. Scritches to all the pups and my best to your mom. ♥

  20. Wow, that's some scab! We see why you lick it, it probably itches a lot. Give it time because if you take it off, it'll just start all over again. It sure is cold and rainy.
