True Colours Thursday

Today's color is VIOLET. We were a little surprised to find that we don't have much VIOLET
in our home. It is a color that we all like a lot so we better go shopping to find some more of it.

First we have a bag of one of our favorite treats - Mom uses them a lot for training purposes.

Then we found a few of the bipeds stuffies - a trio of Barneys.

And a pair of My Little Ponies and a brush for their manes - these actually belong to Mom's daughters and are from the early 1980s. But the two little girl grandbipeds love to play with them now.

And here's a fluffy little kitty that Mom found in the stuffy basket in one of the bedrooms upstairs - that's why we have never seen it before.

Here are the blooms from one of Mom's African VIOLETS.

And then we found this pretty pair of candlesticks with a spray of pretty little VIOLET flowers on them.

Here is a closeup shot of the flowers.

And lastly, Mom's birthstone is amethyst - here is one of her necklaces and a pair of earrings, both with her beautiful VIOLET stone in them.

Since we didn't really have much of our own VIOLET to share, we pawed a few of our good furiends to see if we could use them as models of some more VIOLET. So let's begin our showcase of beauties.
