Wednesday's Woos

WE ARE BACK!!!! It is so good to be home again. It wasn't bad at the kennel but there is truly no place like home. We did get lots of attention while we were there. Thunder made sure he let everyone know we were there - he does such a wonderful job of wooing out the word. Princess Dakota gave them all her beautiful blue-eyed look and drew all the crowds to stop by and say hello. And, of course, Phantom the Puppy-Seeker, kept watch at the gate for any new pups arriving. Keep reading to find out about the special visitors who stopped by to see us.

We knew the day to go home had finally come when Heather came for us. Heather is the queen of the clean and beautiful. She is our groomer. None of us are very crazy about baths but Heather has such a great way with her massaging hands as she lathers us up. Then she uses her special brush to help rid us of all that extra fur that turns Mom into a pluckaholic. Here is how we looked when we got home.

Right after we headed for the kennel, we showed you pics of the silly birdnest on the grandbipeds' front door. Here is an update.

The one egg has multiplied - there are now FOUR!!!!

And where is Mama?

Here she is, pretty little robin - staying very close by as Mom snapped a picture of the nest. The latest report we have is that Mama Robin is sitting intently on her eggs, keeping them warm and preparing for the big hatch. For now, the humans have all decided to stay away and let Mama relax. We will update things as we can but it is more important to let Mama do her work without interruption.
