Hey Thunder - I get just like that all the time - and I NEVER dig - just run in the wet grass and mud......I love mud!!!!!! Did they give you a bath? My mom always throws me in my tub - I get way too many baths for a dog.
What fun is getting dirty if you didn't get to do some digging? I guess if you avoided getting into trouble, that's a plus. However, I hope you don't have to take a bath!

I'm sure woo have a furry good secretive reason for being dirty. Humans just don't understand that we do have important businesses to attend to. Were woo trying to redesign the yard? That's what I try to do sometimes.
My human says woo are dirty enough to get a bath...but I really hope woo didn't get one!
Thunder, how'djoo get so dirty? Is it rainin' where you are? Hey, thanks for stoppin' over to visit me, I sure appreciate it! The Sandy Man is my mom's husband and he works in a Very Sandy Place and comes home a couple of times a year. Mom usually goes overseas somewhere to meet him once a year.
You see....Mum just got done explaining to us that we shouldn't stress about being so behind on our visits....but tonight while we are catching up we have missed someone's 100th post and lots of other stuff and now we see we missed Thunder's Barkday...about a squillion days ago...grrr...we are so sorry! So anyway, a very VERY belated Happy Happy Barkday Thunder! We see you had a pawsome day and got lots of special treats and lovin. We adore those squeaky looking toys, the ones with no arms :D

Hi Thunder, do you have a pond to play in? Sometimes I get in the pond and get muddy. I don't dig much, I am creating a nest under the jungle gym, but Mommy said that was OK. ~Fenris

We actually did find a snake a year ago when the water was high. It was a water moccasin (sp) swimming in the water.. Dad and Mom both saw it and we were out of there so fast you wouldn't believe it.. Guess they are really bad snakes..
It gets better.
Now how's THAT for getting dirty and NOT digging?

That's what happens to the hairy legs when there's moisture even if you don't dig. Just only going for a walk causes that. We understand you!!
