Our furiend Tank has created a new force, Operation Whack-A-Squirrel, a.k.a. OWAS. We have volunteered to serve on this very important task force to keep an eye on those pesky critters. Here is our assignment:
sibes will surf the net
We actually live very close to Tank, only about a 10 minute car ride, but for some reason all the squirrels seem to have scrambled south to Tank's neighborhood. It is very rare for us to see a squirrel, never in our yards, but occasionally on our walks. Today we were especially attentive to our surroundings as we took our daily walk with Mom. You can see us here as we very carefully did a lot of sniffing and searching for those darn evil creatures. Even though we did not find any, we tried to do our best as you can see here.
At the very end of our walk, we did find some very odd beings standing in front of a couple of houses. What do you think of these?

And when we got home, we saw THIS on the kitchen counter - WHAT is THAT???
Mom said something about a "night at the museum" and McDonalds and the little grandbiped's Happy Meal. We didn't follow it at all, but we thought it all very strange.
We shared all of our walking adventure with the princess who couldn't come along for the long walk. She took it all in and wooed something about needing her to help us with our work.
Woos, the OP Pack
No wonder they've all headed to Tank's neighbourhood: woo two have it soooooo under khontrol!
ReplyDeleteTank woo fur sharing all those KHRITTERS!
Most of all, tank woo fur sharing the furry beaWOOWOOtiful Dakota!
Hugz&Khysses,
Khyra
Maybe Khyra is on to something... squirrels only have little pea brains, but surely they're smart enough to stay away from a yard with not 1, not 2, but 3 large dogs who are now members of the OWAS. Keep up the good work!!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I will send Sweetie to talk to the CEO of MacDonald's... I'm sure she can convince him that giving squirrels to small children is NOT a good idea.
Holy moley! They're invading your kitchen! We're quite sure you've taken care of the pesky critter by now! Tank will be pleased! Good work!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
i agree no wonder tank has all the squirrels - maybe you ned to go over to his house and explain to the dquirrels that tanks yard isnt an option either
ReplyDeletewoodrow
Maybe you didn't see any in your neighborhood because they fear you!
ReplyDeleteLuv,
Dave
Way to stay on top of it! The ARE pesky, are they hidin out in museums now???
ReplyDeleteFeather, Darla, Pappy & LizzaBella ^..^
Did you notice in your video that the longer you sniffed on your squirrel patrol the greener your paws became!
ReplyDeleteWe thought that perhaps you have strange squirrel hunting powers that make your paws glow green.
Good work - those were some strange things you found when you got back home.
We dont think any of those were real squirrels cos they were standing still!
love and kisses

Hi, friends!
ReplyDeleteYou went out looking for squirrels and they are inside in your kitchen!
Did Dakota tell you something about them?
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
We are sorry you didn't find any of those squirrels but you had a wonderful walk. Give Dakota a big HUG for us..
ReplyDeleteBig Sloppy Kisses
Gus, Louie and Callie
Squirrels??? what are they?
ReplyDeleteLiffey's licks to you
That thing in your kitchen is a bit suspicious! Princess Dakota I am sure will do a good job of squirrel hunting. Oooh Tank asked me to join up and I forgot! I wonder if he'll still let me join in?
ReplyDeleteHuffle Mawson
I don't know what that knight is doing riding that squirrel but it can't be anything wholesome or natural ...
ReplyDeleteSuper job on the mission!! I think those evil creatures are just scared!! And it is so nice to see Dakota looking sooooo beewootiful!!! She is back to her usual self!!!
ReplyDeleteMya Boo Boo
Ha-woo! Now that's a furry interesting toy! i thnk Jack could have it disassembled in under 5 minutes! Star says squirrels really aren't furry bright, just annoying as heck.
ReplyDeleteWoos & a-roos,
Star & Jack
You are good at patrolling for squirrels. I am sure Dakota would be a big help!
ReplyDeleteWe have a squirrel that lives somewhere close! Monty Dog gets real excited about it and goes tearing out the back door if it is our trees!
Hallo Pack!
ReplyDeletePerhaps your work has been very effective and that's why the squirrels have moved!! Anyway, we think the squirrels are better than all those "things" you have found at home and at the doors of other houses. Prince looks very beautiful...
Woo - it looked like a Thundering Herd Walking Video. Can we walk with you?
ReplyDeleteAnd hugs to Dakota!

ReplyDeleteWell, it sounds like those squirrels are just too scared to come near your yard - they know what's up! We see real pelicans all the time but luckily none of those other guys. Dakota sure looks cute!
ReplyDeleteSee ya!
Joey and Zeke
Dakota's pic is soooo beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteThat looked like a fun walk!
Mochi
Oh wow....we think we'll have to join this force....we don't see many of these critters around these parts (and the ones we do see are the cute red ones) but today we saw a MASSIVE one in our park, just sitting there like he owns the place....time for action! We'll post about him soon.
ReplyDeleteHello Princess....we had some catching up to do and read about your seizure....hope you're feeling better darling girl, you're looking very pretty today :D
Slobbers xx
Good job on the squirrel patroling! Sonja (dumb sheltie) doesn't chase squirrels or cats or dogs or well anything, very weird for a sheltie. Nanuchy (terrorX) used to be a great squirrel hunter, but unfortunately she has lost 75% of her hearing and sight so she has a much harder time finding them now :(
