Mason Dixie suggested we post a howling salute to Dakota today. Dakota was the champion wooer in our pack. Phantom isn't too bad but it is a rare occurrence. TD, on the other hand, makes lots of noise all the time, but it isn't always very melodious. And we had to coax him a bit to get it going. At the end of our video, we added the last woos we were able to record of Dakota, but we are sure she is serenading all her new furiends at the Rainbow Bridge and beyond and adding in some extra woos for Laska to come home.
Thanks, Mason Dixie and all our howling furiends.
Woos, Phantom and Thunder

BeaWootiful sounds from a beawootiful pack! Mom will have to get me started up, so I can join in the wooing....all she will have to do is play this louder, although when she turns on the camera, I always stop and look at it.....
ReplyDelete-Kira
I feel left out... I wasn't blessed with the ability to woo, but I'm wooing on the inside for Dakota:)
ReplyDeleteHi, You Guys...
ReplyDeleteI haven't master howling, yet...I only have a really ear piercing bark when a squirrel is in the yard...
But I'm howling & wooing in my thoughts...

Beautiful music....made my Rotties cry.
ReplyDeleteI long to WOO just like her. She has the most beewootiful softest and perfect woos. The woooorld will never be the same. I wish I could put my paws around your neck and give you a big puppy hug.

ReplyDeleteI very rarely bark, and mom has only caught me howling a couple of times - when our squawky parrot wouldn't shut up!!
Thanks for the sunday salute,
ReplyDeleteits very sweet of you ....
Lovely sounds !!
We wouldn't cooperate for Mom on this one, but we sure LOVED hearing all of you! Dakota was our fav - loved the wooing and wagging tail! :)
ReplyDeleteTD - you crack us up! And Phantom - great play-bowing! Were you trying to tell your mom to take you outside!?
Tail wags,
Storms
A perfect concert to end a rough week!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I can howl or not, I should try and see!

The Legacy pack has posted a silent howl for Dakota. You can visit us at www.theportuguesewaterblog.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteBe sure to check the comments as our friends are howling, too.
Dakota is the champion woo-er!
ReplyDeletelove & wags,

So Beautiful! I love the sound of Sibe-songs! Dakota's woo was very low and gentle. Such a sweet girl.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting tribute to Dakota. Now we understand why River has a howling tribute on his blog.
ReplyDeleteIf I could WOOO I'd be doing it right now!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is some serious wooing all right! Our guys can't come close to that!
ReplyDeleteWow that is so nice. I am going to have a private howl over here. My Mom (who is kind of a slow learner) hasn't figured out how to put a video on my blog, but when I howl it is so loud that people can't believe that came from such a little pup. You would be proud of me.
ReplyDeletelicks and sniffs, Sasha
That was a be-WOOOOO-tiful tribute to Dakota! She certainly had a lovely voice. I have to share what happened here the other night. At around 4AM the dogs in the kennel howled...it was very short but incredibly sweet. It was the most be-woootiful howl I have heard from them. Immediately Princess Dakota came into my mind and I just KNOW that special howl was for her.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing her howls with us,
Skye,Dave,Jasmine,Angel,Velvet,Blaze,Lakota, the kitties Misty,Diana,Starr and mom Joan
Woo - what beautiful songs your pups sing. Dakota's woo is almost ghostly, it's so lovely. I can't do much I'm afraid but respect the howls from Mason's video. I bow my head and listen.
ReplyDeleteInner woos and hugs xo
Sammie
Wonderful howling. We really wish Clive could howl and we would have posted him doing so! It was a lovely idea and a great salute to Dakota.

Dakota had the most beautiful howl! I've never howled, even tho Mom says I should since I'm a hound. I have also never been exposed to Sibes before starting a blog recently...I'm beginning to understand why all your posts have woos in them! We will continue to keep you in our prayers.

Since we were in the RV, we did not play the howling videos over the weekend (preferring not to lose my hearing to The Herd and the inevitable choir that would come from them). But really enjoyed the video. I bet Dakota and Nikita have met up and are wooing a way!
