Let's start the day with some pretty flowers from our front yard.
This little pug mix lives on our street and his name is Charlie.
We think he looks a little like Emmitt.
We think he looks a little like Emmitt.
And this is Baker. Mom met him at the bike shop and took his pic with her iPhone; please excuse the quality of the photo. Baker's owner told her that he only weighs 100 lbs. and is still a pup at 10 months. He reminds us a lot of Honey.
And now for our toys on Tuesday. Our good Furiends Steve and Kat from the Washington Woos (Kat is TD's girl) sent us a surprise package. We got a new stuffie frog and a flying squirrel like Steve and Brice have. Here is the card that was in the package, front and back.
Phantom is funny with stuffies. He rarely plays with them but loves to carry one to the back door on his way outside and then drop it at the door. Once in a great while a particular stuffie will catch his eye and from then on that one is his and only his. He heard the squeak of the frog and that was it. Here he is checking out Freddie the Frog.

And now how about some stuffie fun with Phantom!!!
Our next door neigbor's lab has one of these Chuck It flying squirrels and he loves to chase it and catch it and bring it back. For a few weeks now, TD has been managing to get the squirrel through the fence and brings it his own deck. Steve and Kat thought it would be nice for TD to have his own.
But after you watch this video, we think you will agree that he has a lot to learn about what to do with the flying squirrel. Brice, can you come and help teach TD how to do it the right way? Steve, if you can come too, that would be great, just don't forget to bring Kat too.
Woos, the OP Pack
Pee Ess, Mom says to please excuse the messy house, it was a day with ALL the grandbipeds here, so there are toys everywhere, the potty chair is out for training three Two-year-olds, and the table has dishes out while all the breakables have been removed from the tables. And the beach towel is on the coffee table to protect it from the little guys' trucks:)
Freddie The Frog looks like a favourite fur Fantom ;-)
ReplyDeleteTD knows the skhwirrel has already been khaptured so he just want to gnaw!
I know Brice would love to khome give lessons!

Morgan is going to have to teach him what to do with the flying squirrel. She got so good at catching it and running with it that she eventually found a hiding place and ripped it up. Till then it was a big hit with everyone.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't notice any mess. That frog looks tasty! I mean fun :)

I dropped a nylabone on the laptop to trade for your froggy but Momma says that it doesn't work that way.
ReplyDeleteThunder made great progress at the end of the video. I'd love to come give lessons but we'll have to settle for video response tomorrow. But I do like to chew the corners too.
Bricey the squirrel master

Despite the lack of not knowing how to use it, I think you look very proud with your flying squirrel. And you sure know how to use a squeakie!

she has some resources in the sidebar. She is retired now both boys are in COLLEGE, although she does do the occasional homeschool post when she has time.

hiya! Your comment on my blog made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Phantom and Thunder are really stunning! And to be honest, that's really saying something, as I don't really like goggies..
Well, They're ok, but Daddycat's allergic, so he can't snuzzle them.
Love all the pics and videos. Have to say the look on Thunder's face when you are outside throwing the squirrel is priceless lol.
ReplyDeleteWhat pawsome toys! Great to see Phantom having such fun with the froggie. Made me wanna come play too!
ReplyDelete~lickies, Ludo
Wooo, nice new toys! Don't worry, TD will figure it out. Wooing of which, I think I'll have Jack sit and study Phantom playing with that frog. He needs pointers on how to properly make a squeakie squeak. (have woo seen the videos of him squeaking it with his NOSE? Dorkboy.)
ReplyDeletewoos,

We just realized that we had forgotten to comment on this post! Oops!
ReplyDeleteWe are really happy that Phantom likes Freddie the Frog so much! It made us really happy to see him so happy.
Now, Thunder, what is the deal? You wanted a flying squirrel so badly that you took the neighbor's but now that you have your own, you are bored with it? We guess even the flying squirrels are greener on the other side of the fence. :-)
