Tuesday Talk and Thanks

Just a quick post to thank everyone who voted for Thunder and Phantom in Hansel's Halloween Spooktacular contest. Hansel has announced the winners and said that Thunder came in as a close second to Mack/Peter Pan. Congratulations, Mack - you looked great. And Phantom was the winner of the Best Excuse for Not Wearing a Costume. If you want to see all the winners, pop over to the contest site at Halloween Spooktacular. This was a very fun contest. Thanks for sponsoring the fun, Hansel.

We are very grateful to all of our readers who took the time to visit the contest and vote for us. As our way of saying thank you, we are going to send a contribution to a very special rescue, The Last Resort. Like so many rescue organizations, they are in dire need of help with funds for many of the dogs they are caring for. This is the wonderful sanctuary where many of the dogs go from the transports that Khyra's Mom does. They do so much good for our less fortunate furiends and we want to do this to say thank you to all of you and to them.

    Sending a donation to a rescue organization is a very nice thing to do. They are all hurting these days with too many dogs and too little money.
