Welcome 2010!!!! We had to take a break from posting for the holidays. We had lots of fun, but we also had a very busy time with family. One of the wonderful things that happened here was SNOW!!!! It started to snow on Christmas Eve and continued snowing for two more days. Then it snowed again a couple of times last week. And now they say we will have more on Wednesday. It is also very cold here. And what do we think about all of this? After seeing all of these pics and the video at the end, no further explanation will be needed. Enjoy!!!

There is nothing more beautiful than two happy boys frolicking in snow! You make it seem so inviting and fun...not freezing cold and wet. Glad that your winter wonderland is going to get some fresh flakes. Enjoy! (both the snow and the naps)

What a terrific romp you two had! It is plain to see that you were made for the cold and snow. I try to like it, but me and Banjo are just too small and our hair is way too short. Even with our winter coats on we are shivering in just one minute. We'll take the heat and you two can have the cold. Okay?

It would be wonderful playing in the snow if it wasn't so cold that our paws stick to the ground. Mom will only let us stay out for a few minutes, then we have to go inside and play quietly.

Oh these pics are majorly cool!! We think all pooches should romp in the cool white stuff at least once. The video was funny where your momma wanted you to go in and noooooo--- one more romp was needed!! hehe. We are in Phoenix now so no more snow, but maybe the folks will take us up to Flagstaff or Prescott for some snow therapy.

ReplyDeleteMy humans were in OP on New Year's Day visiting their son-in-law's parents for a yummy open house. They said the food was good, but do you think they brought me any??? NOoooo! I've been making trails in our snow here and momma keeps making me hold still so she can get the ice out from between my toes. So silly, it doesn't bother me. You two have MUCH more fur than I do, so I bet you stay nice and warm even in the snow. Have fun tomorrow when the next blizzard comes through!

I stopped by to answer you question on my post, so you don't have to go looking for it :)You are very observant. Our barn is very lax on these issues. We're not negligent, but we love the freedom we all feel when we gather there. I think because it's so extreme, we're all so appreciative that we're on our best behavior. I'm not going to lie. We've had a few horses step on a couple of doggies, but ... c'est la vie. The worst damage was a tiny Chi cast that my friend Boomer earned. He learned! Heck, I break my leg if I cough too hard.

Hi guys - oh yes, chase and bitey face in the snow, you just can't beat it can you?! As our servant - erm, we mean female human - types this for us we are currently draped over male human on the sofa, snoring softly, after a long walk on the snowy sea-front this morning. Ahhh - life does not get much better than this does it?! You two look soooo comfy on your sofas - being a pup is sometimes an exhausting experience isn't it, he he he!!
