As we were visiting some of our blog furiends today and trying to come up with a plan for a post, we got this idea from the pups at Dog Daze. We hope they don't mind our doing something similar - after all, imitation is the best form of flattery.
It has been a little over seven months since we said farewell to the princess. She is still very sadly missed but at the same time forever lovingly remembered. Here are a few of Mom's favorite puppy pics of Dakota.

Always ready for her dinner. Don't you just love those ears?
I thought you said you had the keys, Phantom.
What am I doing in here? I am pretty sure I saw a rabbit hop in here.
We hope you enjoyed our trip down Memory Lane.
Right after we posted last week about receiving this pretty award, Lola and Pugsley wanted to share it with us too. Thanks to both of you, that was very nice of you to do.

And then today all the furries at Jan's Funny Farm passed along this beautiful award to us. After the dreary month of January, we thought this was a brilliant way to begin the month of February.
We would like to pass along all the sweetness and sunshine from these two awards to all our readers. Please accept and enjoy.
Woos, Phantom and Thunder

Oh, Princess Dakota, you are so beautiful and look so loving. I enjoyed your photo memory lane. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIn case you haven't watched it yet, don't watch Marley and Me. I read the book years ago but didn't fall apart. Last night, we watched the movie and my husband and I spent the rest of the evening in tears. Of course, he has to die at the end but it's just so memory-provoking. It made me forget all the funny parts of the movie.
That said, thanks again for the wonderful photos!
What sweet puppy pictures of the Princess. And congratulations on your awards!

What a beautiful girl your Princess was! I know you miss her terribly! She certainly does favor our Bear very much! It's fun seeing her baby pics because we rescued Bear as an adult from our local high kill shelter. He was scheduled to be PTS at 5:00 and Whimpurr got there after 3:00!!! Anyway, Princess's baby pics show us what our Bear looked like in his puppy years! We LOVE the wishing well picture ... SO CUTE! :o)
ReplyDeleteShe's so little in that first picture! Cutie!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you forgot the keys, Phantom! I'm pretty sure that was your chance to go to Dairy Queen.
