Our sweet furiend Ruby gave us the Happy 101 cupcake award. The rules of this award are to list 10 bloggers who brighten our day and list 10 things that make us happy.



We have shared our happy things once before when we were awarded this lovely badge. And we really don't want to have to name just 10 bloggers. So we are going to say that all of our readers give us reason to be happy - so to thank you we are going to offer anyone who comments on this post this award. Enjoy, and thanks to Ruby.


And last, but never least, Ginger Jasper, that handsome kitty from across the Big Pond, had this wonderful new award to share.



Each recipient must share four things about themselves that represent the four colors of the mood ring: Pink, Blue, Orange and Green.

1. Our newest member will have the honor of representing the Pink. Miss Ciara is the only girl in our pack and she totally acts like the princess here, so we guess Pink suits here well.

2. Phantom, of course, has those gorgeous dreamy Blue eyes.

3. Orange - that's a tough one, but "orange" you glad we got this award? (Groan, sorry)

4. And for Green, we want to link it to its symbolic meaning of hope, and our hope is for all furanimals around the world to be happy and healthy and loved as we are here at the OP Pack.

Our photos are not very well organized - the Momster really needs to work on that. But we went into one of our blog folders and picked this one.


The Picky Boy who turns his nose up to lots of things, but just loves pizza.

Speaking of Phantom, he wants to thank those of you who have been asking about him. He is doing OK, that's about the best way to put it. Some days he is just wonderful and you would never think that he was 11 or that he had been so sick last summer. But then more often that we would like, he has a lot of days where he just doesn't feel well. He can go 2 or more days where he just won't eat anything and camps out in his crate. It isn't just a matter of not being hungry. Mom says she has that mother's instinct that tells her he just feels yucky. We know that his cancer is likely to return and when it does, it won't be pretty. But for now, we all just try to keep him happy. Mom will be talking to the vet on Saturday when Ciara goes in for her next round of vaccinations to see what might be done to help him out.

Phantom really does not like having his photo taken, but we managed to catch a few today just for you.







April Fool's Day - everyone - I am feeling pretty good right now:)



We also want to say we are sorry if we have missed some of your posts. The Momster is being a pain in the butt - no, wait, that's not what we mean. She HAS a pain in the butt. Well, sort of. She has a back injury and lots of pain. The doctor thinks it is arthritis, whatever that is, but she doesn't agree - came on way too fast and furious. She is getting better slowly and we hope to be able to visit everyone regularly again soon.
