My ouchie looks a lot worse on the video than it is. It is healing very well and the scab is getting smaller and smaller. Now if I could just get rid of the stupid pills.
Ciara and Thunder got to go for a walk together later. Since Mom took a bad tumble recently when she tripped over her big feet in the road while walking us, she has started to walk me alone and then TD with Ciara. She's OK, but she sure did have a lot of bruises.
Woos, Phantom
I clicked on the video before reading the rest of the post, I was just thinking watching it, that his face is healing up well.
ReplyDeleteThats so funny when they came up to him, he looked a little unsure, and no barking, well done Phantom.
Hope your pride was not hurt to much, taking that tumble.
Jan and George xxx
Woo-hoo! Well, we certainly weren't expecting to see THOSE GUYS! That is so furry khool! I think they liked woo a LOT, Phantom! We're glad your ouchie is getting better, and hope your mom's do the same.
ReplyDeletejack a-roo & miss moo
PS - Mom also came to the conclusion that when walking Sibes, 2 is her limit.
Whoa! I loved the Donkey Welcome!
ReplyDeleteDon't feel bad about falling - I faceplanted on my driveway a couple of weeks ago - tripped on a sprinkler. Man, it still hurts!
Phantom looks great - glad to hear he's better!!
Dude! My mom takes me to see those giant dogs with hard feet too! Scary... I bark at them just to make sure they know I'm not going to take any of their crap!
ReplyDelete-Corbin
Looks like you had a great time on your walk. You mean your mom doesn't put your pills in a spoonful of peanut butter to give them to you? You need to look pathetic until she does.
ReplyDeleteWags!
Mr. Nubbin'
PeeS. Note from Nubbin's mom have you tried the Pill Pockets, Petsmart and Petco carry them. You just tuck the pill in and pinch close and they think it's a treat and it's gone before they realize! We love them. They are fabulous for cats!
What a great video - and your ouchie doesn't look too too bad - we are just happy that it is healing and getting smaller and will be ouchie-no-longer soon!
ReplyDeleteAnd tell your mom that falling happens to all moms - our mom was doing all the weekend cleaning and tripped and fell and has a bunch of bruises. She says she tripped from the bookcase, but we saw it and she tripped on her own feet!
Wow Phantom...what a fun and special Mama Phantom walk you had!! We just love your furiends...Dory thought they were so fun she came running while Mama was watching the vidoe!!
ReplyDeleteSmileys & Snuggles!
Dory, Bilbo and Jacob
woah donkeys we soooo love donkeys too my momma was furry impressed how well you walked and she giggled at the traction knots in your lead... loves and licks
ReplyDeleteOuchie to your mommy! Good thing she wasn't badly hurt.
ReplyDeletePhantom you are such a good boy fur behaving so good around your furfriend.
Sam & June
I haven't heard donkeys bray in such a long time - sort of a treat! But a better treat to see how well your face has healed and scar on your hip too - what a lot to deal with Phantom, and you're doing it so well! What good behavior you show with the donkeys! They definitely like you! But I feel awfully for your Mom - taking bad tumbles hurts and bruises, as my mom knows - she's fallen too - a few times while walking Avalon and me!
ReplyDeleteHugs xoxoxo

Your friends were sure glad to see you and so are we. A great walk, we like the way you move Phantom, and you had a Huskey and a human shadow followiing you around. Great job !!!!!
ReplyDeleteRemy and Flash
You do a very good sit before you cross the street!
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing your new friends!
Wow, Phantom looks so good. His ouchie looks like it's getting lots better...soon,,,very soon.

Martha and Bailey xxx
I'm shocked that donkeys are allowed to live in OP.
ReplyDeleteDo they live in a subdivision with an HOA? I'd love to see their covenants. BOL
How rude of those donkeys to laugh at you, Phantom! We're glad that one of them decided to come over and be friendly!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots
Maggie and Mitch
I hope that the momster is healing up well. I love the Phantom video. I thought that he looked really good. And, he made some new friends!
ReplyDeleteAre there donkey's next door to you?

Woo - those are some funny looking dogs and their woos are a little strange.
ReplyDeleteOh Phantom, my mama is going crazy over you - she says you are the cutest doggie in the world and I agree! I am just like you when I meet friends - a little nervous at first, but always well behaved and sweet.
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
I say that any way you can get a walk by yourself is a good thing, Phantom! I'm sorry your mom got all bruised up, though. You look great, big guy! I think your scar is healing up really nicely.
ReplyDeleteBunny
We enjoyed going along on your walk with you Phantom! Your furiends were sure happy to see you and it was nice of them to come over to you too! We're glad your mom is okay after her tumble.
ReplyDeleteLove those furiends of yours! You are so patient with them :) Looked like you carefully navigated a busy street on your walkie!!! Cuidado my friend. Hope your mom is ok from her walkie injuries. I've tipped my mom over on walkies a few times...don't like seeing her tears :(
ReplyDeleteHugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,
Sierra Rose
What a good boy being patient with those funny doggies! Hope your Mom is feeling better. :)
ReplyDeleteI am really impressed with Phantom's and meeting his friends. We have horses at the end of our street, most of the dogs have no problem with them, but ever since Brut was young he is always ready to challenge them. He is actually scared to death of them, and has never really gotten over his fear. We are working on it, little by little. Nice job Phantom.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your fall. I can only walk one dog at a time and it makes for nice alone time with them. Hope you feel better.
I didn't get to watch the whole video because I have dial up internet and it took too long and I had to leave before it got done downloading but you look so good, Phantom! I forgot all about that owie on your hip there. Glad it's better than it looks. I'll try to remember to come back and watch it in full when I have more time.
ReplyDeleteI have been trying and trying to leave you comments since 09/11Blogger is being cranky. I finally made it over the hurdles and I wanted to say Phantom, just keep getting better.
ReplyDeleteRemember I am always trying to come sit by you, but all i have is dialup
love

Hi Phantom. What a fun walk you had! Your friends look so cool! Thanks for sharing with us.
ReplyDeleteGlad to know your ouchie is healing very well. Hope you mom is feeling better too.
Did you see that movie "Snow Dogs" Your guys remind me of that movie and snow. I LOVE snow! Gizzy would probably too because he has that double coat and since he's Pekingese, his breed is used to snow since it snows in China.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you can get anything done with these pretty pups around. I'd be cuddling with them all day...they just have the cleanest, softest looking fur in the world.
Maybe in the snow you can have them pull you in a sled? (A small sled, the kind the kids use)
Interesting friends you have there. :)
ReplyDeleteI just popped over from Doris's blog, 'cause I saw your adorable pups! It's my dream someday to have a husky... but lack of a permanent home base means the time is not right. Someday though!
ReplyDeleteThey're beautiful!
:)
That was SOOOO khool!
ReplyDeleteI think they all said 'Phantom Phantom Phantom'
AND they also noticed woo are looking furry good!
I must khommend woo bekhause I would SOOOO be khrakhkerdog with a BIG KH!

Phantom, those friends sure had a lot to say to you! They have funny accents. Hope mom's bruises are healing quickly...my dad took a spill in the driveway last week and his elbow is scraped up and his knee bruised (he looks a mess). You ouchie shave is just as perfectly geometric as Quinn's...like a big window on the side.
ReplyDeleteThanks for inviting us on your walk, Phantom. You're sure a handsome dog. I think your furfriends think so do from all the noises they were making when they saw you. They seem to be admirers ;)
ReplyDeleteTeddy
Wooo!! Looks like you are already starting to make friends! I heard them announcing that you were there!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your ouchie is healing. It sure looked terrible and painful! I hope your face is almost healed up too!
And, I hope your mom is feeling better too! We sure understand how difficult it is to take multiple pups out for a walk!
Holly
your mom had a fall? oh dear, do get better!
ReplyDeleteWowzer! Loki (and Juno) need to take lessons from WOO! I think Loki would have a heart attack if he heard the donkey we go by "eeeeoarrrr!" He would definitely have a seond one if it walked up to him. Juno on the other hand would be anxious to, um, well, get up close and personal to them. And I'm not talking about being nice!
ReplyDeleteSo we need lessons from the big man himself. you wanna come on over here and show us how it's done?
woo!
wags, wiggles and woos,
wild dingo
Wow, Phantom! You and I have the same kind f friends! That is SO cool!!!! I think they're great.
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Yuu-Chan
Phantom, we enjoyed the video so much. Murray loves donkeys and he also got great fun out of watching Clive react here to the noise of the donkeys braying ...
ReplyDeleteClive was nearly climbing into the laptop to join Phantom!
We hope your Mom's bruises heal soon and she looks after herself. One of our friends broke her leg recently when she tripped over the guide dog puppy she was puppy walking. No fun at all!
take care
Murray's Mom
Phantom, your furiends sure are noisy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for having us on your walk, Phantom, and for showing us your friends. They are so happy to see you with the noise they are making, we are sure they meant "hello" in their language.
ReplyDeleteWow, Phantom! That was really fun! I like your furends, even if they are a little noisy. But I think that they like you! Well, at least that one that came right up to the fence. You did a really good job not skeering him. I think those donkeys kinda skeer easy.
ReplyDeleteWiggles & Wags,
Mayzie
Oh, Phantom, you sure are looking beautiful! Thanks for the virtual walk - we feel like we were walking along with you! Nice stone pond with fountain...and we like your furry friends! Glad you are feeling better...and sure hope your Hu-Mom is doing OK after her fall. :-(
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your fall. When I saw that last video I was amazed that you could walk all 3 at once. I can barely keep up with each of mine and there's only 2 of them!! He did a great job on that meeting, too. Arwen would've been at the end of the lead to try and "catch" them!! Thanks for the video ;)
ReplyDeleteWow! Your walks are amazing! You get to meet different friends, were they friendly? What were they telling you?
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Maxx
Phantom!
ReplyDeleteI was happy to see you happy on your walkie!
And sure the donkeys were happy to see you too!
Yes. Your ouchie looks... ouchie! Glad to know is better now!
Take care
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
Hey Phantom! Sure glad you are feeling better and healing up. Now about that mama of yours...We're sending get well wishes to her now! Our mom has tried to fall on her face several times walking us. Not sure why the hoomans can't just walk on all fours.
ReplyDeleteSmooches,
BabyRD and Hootie
Phantom!
ReplyDeleteIt is so wonderful to see you out and about and looking so dog-goned healthy! We know your scabby will heal in no time.
Oh your poor mom! I know you and your sibelings will all give her massive amounts of healing sugars this weekend!
Take care and try not to scratch your ouchie!
Sugars,
Mack
Hello, we are your newest followers. Phantom was so nice to the donkeys. My Riley saw a donkey one time when she was a puppy and just barked at it...!

Thanks for taking me on a walk with you! I like your friends. They are cool! Hope your mommy is feeling better!
ReplyDeleteThat was a great video. Your friends are really cool. I can't belive how well behaved you were! I must admit that I would have been barking my royal head off :)
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Emma Rose
Hi Thunder,
ReplyDeleteWe hope your mom heals quickly - please pass on a gentle schanuzer snuggle to her from each of us.
We loved seeing you in action - you're a good boy on the leash aren't you. And we were so hoping you'd be visiting the donkeys, we loved meeting them in the fur!
Schnauzer snuggles - JD and Max.
Oh I am so sorry your Mama fell. I know about that too. I fall every so often on our walks.
ReplyDeleteI tried to leave a picture of the coons on your guest book and I don't think it went through. It takes forever as does a video. Someday I'll load when I have a few hours to let it load!!! That is what it takes to see a video is hours.
XXOO, Bambu & Fern
dancing around dog leashes can really be dangerous sometimes. I try to be careful so I don't trip my dads...sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't...lol
ReplyDeleteGlad the Mom is OK, sorry she took a spill.
ReplyDeletePhantom, you are looking great!!! WE love your friends. Mommy wants to ride them, she is weird like that.
~AFSS
Ciara, I heard about your adventure in New York from Asta and I saw how gorgeous you looked all gussied up (BLUSHING). ~Fenris
We LOVE videos like that one, Phantom! It' fun for you, AND it's fun for US! You are such a good leader ... and you know the rules about crossing the street and making sure your moma is safe. (We liked seeing her shadow.) We were sorry to read that she had gotten bruised up falling ... but glad she's okay and has figured out a way to modify the walks so everyone can be safe.
ReplyDeleteThose donkeys sounded so funny! Do you think they were telling a joke? Or asking a question? It was hard for us to tell. But you sure were a respectful listener. Maybe one day they'll walk along even further with you! We sure would.
Tell Ciara Fergi is still happy from her time in NYC together. She's starting to get some peach fuzz growing in ... just like Phantom ... next time we think she should not shave her legs so close.
Enjoy your weekend, wonderful family!
Love
Jake (and Fergi) xxoo
We are so sad about your owie. You just listen to your momma and do all she says and then it will be betters in no time at all☺
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI hope your OK. I could never walk all my dogs at once, I would trip over them and never mind MY big feet! LOL
Have a nice weekend!
xxoo
Deborah
Hi - I am glad you liked my video! Here's our trick - Mama walked me and Papa held the camera (and walked backwards for a few steps). It was definitely a two person effort!
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
Good news at last. Gooo Phantom!
ReplyDeleteTwinkie
Just got done watching this. I didn't notice your face scab at all, Phantom!
ReplyDeleteYou were much better behaved with your furiends than my boys would ever be. Chico would've barked at them and then Shiver would've joined in. I loved hearing them bray.
I felt bad after posting my first comment that I neglected to say that I hope your mom's bruises are all healed up now. That sounds like a painful fall.
Your friends are LOUD! I think they were trash talking you.
ReplyDeleteI am totally jelly of your nice wide, flat sidewalks. Gosh, our sidewalks are like some amusement park joy ride.
Slobbers,
Mango
