Getting ready for Santa

Well, it isn't quite the "night before Christmas" but it is getting close. So today we are getting ready for the big night.

Some of us were nestled all snug in our beds.

And some had settled in "for a long winter's nap".

And some of us had "visions of sugar plums dancing in our heads."

Hey, I had a tough day at the spa today.

And so now we are waiting for that jolly old elf with the eyes that twinkle, the dimples so merry, the cheeks like roses, the nose like a cherry, the droll little mouth, the beard white as snow, and the little round belly that shakes like a bowlful of jelly. We are so ready to hear him say, "Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"




We are all set for the arrival of our human brother Chris and family. They are coming in tomorrow from rain-soaked Los Angeles. The next week is going to be a very busy one here with all of our human brother and sisters and all the little bipeds. We aren't going to be able to keep up with the blogs for a while, but we want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. You all need to stay well, no sickies, no problems. We don't want to miss any big news, but we just know we aren't going to be visiting for a while after tonight. We are really worried right now about our good pal Luke, the Golden Boy. We have heard he is sick and has had a setback. Please, sweet Luke, feel better. And the same for Lorenza, and all of our other furry furiends and family who need the power of the paw. And many thanks again for all the wonderful thoughts and suggestions for Phantom. He ate last night, at least a little bit. We will keep working at it.
