And what are we searching for? You guessed it - where is our SNOW??? It IS December. Yesterday it was close to 70 degrees, and at 5:00 a.m. today we had a nasty thunderstorm. Then the temps dropped and the trees were all iced over. And we hear there were tornadoes in parts of Missouri. But absolutely NO snow. Maybe 2011 will bring us some snow.

On this last day of 2010, many of our blogger furiends have been reminiscing about the past year. We know that for many of you it has been a very tough year, and we are hoping things will only get better for you. We feel very blessed to have had a decent year. We have had our ups and downs, but we like to think about the pawsitives. The highlight of our year had to be the arrival of our newest pack member, Ciara. As much as we like to portray her as the furamily pest, she really is our little sweetheart. And we also had to undergo another scare with the evil "C" for Phantom. But he has once again pulled through a bad time, and we are all thrilled he is headed into 2011 with all of us. Thunder, the kid in the middle, just seems to sail through life with ease. In just a few months, TD will be five years old. It is hard to believe it is already that long, but every day with Thunder has been a true joy.

We are also very grateful for all the friends we have. We have shared the good times and the bad times with so many of you. We have gained some new friends and sadly lost quite a few, some have crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and some are just gone . . . . . The hardest part of these losses for all of us is the not understanding why. Sometimes life just doesn't make a lot of sense. And so it is time to move forward and hope for 2011 to bring good health, happiness, friendship, and lots of fun to all.
