Talk on Thursday


We have to thank all of you for the great comments on yesterday's post. They made us smile, chuckle, and laugh out loud. We may have to solicit Mango and Norwood to be our ghostwriters.

The Momster celebrated her 100th birthday this week (BOL), on Tuesday to be precise. She had a very nice day and received lots of beautiful cards, good wishes, and pressies. But she wanted us to share with you this one that she actually purchased as her present to herself.


Look at this beautiful beaded bracelet in her favorite color blue with a hint of lavender and green.



Our pals Sadie, Angel and Isabella from Beaded Tail and their Mom sent us the cute card along with the bracelet. It is one of the "No No" bracelets that Isabella told us about in this post at the Beaded Tail blog and this post too.

Here is another look at the bracelet - don't look too closely at that arm - it really shows you that the Momster really is 100 years old. But isn't that bracelet just so pretty?

Hey Maggie Mae, we finally got a pic of our new neighbor puppy. Her name is Layla and she is about four months old. She lives with Tank, a beautiful Golden Retriever right next door. Isn't she so pretty? We will try to get a better pic now that we have some nicer weather.

Speaking of the weather, can you believe it is 72 degrees F here today in Kansas???

    It's sunny and warm here today, too. We're having a great time playing chase me and finding all the things that were hidden under the snow. Monkey is missing again and Mom says he'd better not be in the mud. She's going to go look for him.

    That bracelet is just beautiful! I feel the Momster's pain, I have an incredibly small wrist as well.

    We have 68 degree weather here today and are definitely enjoying it! We spent about an hour and a half outside playing earlier.

    and nobody who's a 100 can take care of grandbi-peds PLUS 3 SIBERIANS! hello... crazy yutes (think of the movie, My Cousin Vinny) do that do that!

    Happy belated birthday!! 100 years!! That's my age!! That bracelet is beautiful. I have a very skinny wrist too and it's hard to find anything to wear that doesn't fall off of my hand. We have a snowless place here but never really had much at all. The weather was about 70 degrees but it's only February.     We totally understand how you all are feeling. We have had weather in the 60's here and all my snow is pretty much gone. We now have a swamp for a yard.
