Wordy Wednesday Challenge 2011




We joined in the fun this year with the Wordy Wednesday Challenge 2011.


Here we go.





The OP Pack of P's




Persevering/persevere: continuing despite difficulties, opposition, or discouragement ; be resolved, carry on, endure, go for it, hang tough, persist, see it through.

Phantom is the epitome of perseverance. After two surgeries for removal of malignant masses and the loss of his best pal Dakota, he continues to fight the evil "C". He may not be cooperating with his eating (or non-eating) ways, but he still enjoys his walks and loves to lie close to the Momster for some extra snuggles and petting. He enjoys a good nap in the sun, and he does love a fresh fallen snow. We hope he continues to persevere for a long time to come.




Patient: enduring without complaint; mild-tempered, composed, tranquil, unruffled, easy-going, gentle, tolerant, understanding.

This is an easy one - TD has to be the most patient pup in the world.

Now this photo would imply that he is patiently waiting for those squirrels to come down to the ground. We rarely see squirrels here, but he does dream about it. Meanwhile he patiently waits (stalks) the bunnies who invade his yard, and we will leave it at that:)

That is one side of patient Thunder. But we all know and love the very tolerant Thunder who endures all things, good and bad, from his little sister. Yes, she is younger, she is smaller, but she is a bossy one. She sits on him, she yanks on his neck, she pulls his tail. She invades his space every chance she gets. And yet he endures it all without complaint. He truly is gentle and tolerant and loving. We sure hope that never changes.


And last , but surely not least:)




Pesky: annoying, bothersome, galling, irritating, nettlesome, pestering, pestiferous, teasing, vexatious, vexing; irritating, exasperating.


Whoa, whoa, whoa!!! Ciara here! Where did these cookies come from? They surely have the wrong Ciara in mind. Pesky??? Who, me??? No way. That is the wrong P. I am playful, pretty, pleasant, precious, proper, photogenic, priceless, precocious, proud, poised, passionate and maybe even almost perfect. I think some Momster picked the wrong "P". But I do agree, Ciara IS as Ciara Does:)

    One more P-word to describe Ciara: Puddles-like! Those counter arguments had a distinct doxie accent we think...

    My sister Chloe is kinda like Thunder She too is a very calm, patient girl who would tolerate ANYTHING.

    And I am so much like Ciara! I think we both should hang out someday. HEE

    I couldn't agrees more withs da owrds dat was chosen.
    Phantom is soooo perservering withs all he has been through and we is very proud of him, he is a tuff one.
    And TD...what can I say, he HAS to be patient withs Ciara (kinda likes my brudder)
    And Ciara...hehehehe...Oh me, it's okays to be pesky and I do it very wells also:)
