Moslty Wordless Woos on Wednesday

No, I didn't - that flashy beast was just intruding on my nap.





OK, here's a bonus for my readers - this is a much better shot of me.



Phantom says, "This is all you are going to get of my tummy. I am much more reserved than my other packmates."



How about a play bow instead?



Thanks to everyone for all the good wishes for me. I was feeling better last week, but then I had another rough weekend with the sickies.



The vet has extended my special diet indefinitely and put me back on that horridly bitter medicine again.



I know I need to eat, but I really don't always want to eat. The vet is concerned that I am getting too thin. He said I need to eat in order to fight the sickies.

(Note from Mom - I included the above photo so you can see how thin our poor boy is.)



Thanks again to all of you for your pawsitive thoughts for me. I promise to try to feel better.

    Poor Phantom! He does look like he's getting thin. Hopefully he'll start eating more soon and will be able to gain some weight back! Chloe lost a lot of weight during her whole surgery ordeal (she was overweight to start with and now is down to a normal weight), and it was hard to get her to eat too.

    As for TD and Ciara...they have a twin in Virginia...Riley has been sleeping on her back like them all morning long! I read somewhere that it means a dog is comfortable in their surroundings and also that they may be doing it to keep cool since there is less fur on their belly.

    Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for always commenting on my blog even when I haven't had the chance to get around and visit you! I can always count on a comment from you and I love that, so thanks!! :)

    Frankie's Mom here... I have a dumb question to ask... can dogs have ENSURE??? Could Phantom???
    Do they make something like that for dogs??? They SHOULD.

    Poor Phantom - I am so sorry you are having bouts of the sickies. I went through almost of year of that before they found out what the problem was and also lost a lot of weight. Hang in there big guy - and keep trying to eat okay !

    My paws are crossed that you get over your sickies soon. You are looking very thin, so I hope you start eating soon. I know it is hard and you don't want too, but we want you healthy again.     Wait just a darn minute! I haves obviously missed sumptin...OMD, I didn't knows Phantom was feeling poorly again. Geez, where has I been? He is getting thin and dat hurts my heart but I knows da momster is taking real good care of him and is doin' everything possible.

    What lovely photos, but I am sad about your tummy troubles, sweet boy! Isn't there some type of appetite stimulant for doggies? I am going to ask the vet next time I go because Gizzy always has been a very finicky eater and it's a struggle twice a day for me to force-feed him - he'd not eat for 2 days if I didn't make him, but I do!

    Phantom, we are so sorry you are having so many sickies. Has your mom tried vanilla ice cream with a little honey mixed in? Chicken & rice [human quality, not dog food with those flavors]? We're sure your vet must have checked for it, but inappropriate play bowing is one of Abby's symptoms when she has pancreatitis. So is not eating proper food and just eating grass. We have our paws crossed for you!

    I truly hope that Phantom starts feeling better soon. My heart is with him, rooting for his tummy to feel better so that he want to eat.
