Lightning again today - I promise I will let the others have a turn soon.
When I first arrived at my forever home, I was not too sure about all the little bipeds that come to visit many days of the week. I would run and hide. But Mom has been helping me and them to become good pals. I wear a calming collar, a D.A.P. one, that the vet suggested to Mom. I am no longer afraid of Dad's big black noisy shoes. And I have discovered that the little ones aren't so bad either.
This one is my favorite. Her name is C.
She is helping me learn how to pose nicely.
Here she thinks I am being silly, but I was just practicing my stretches.
Whoa, what have we here? Mom says this is my cutie girl's other half J - the twins J and C. I am pretending I am sleeping here because J is wild sometimes and scares me. Mom is working on him to approach me more slowly and quietly. And you know what, he is a lot of fun too because he loves to throw the ball for me and squeak my toys.
Hope you all can find a sweet little one to share your day with too.
Woos, Lightning
Firstly,,,I'm so glad that Lightning isn't afraid of those shoes anymore. I was afraid he might attack your closet one day!
ReplyDelete2nd - Of course he's wary of the smaller ones. They move so fast but they're lots of fun to play with.
Lightning, you're becoming a camera ham! I loved the stretching picture!
ReplyDeleteHooray for mutually improved relations with the chilren!
ReplyDeleteSo precious!!
ReplyDeleteStewey
Lightening, you are doing so good with the Bipeds!! I understand how you feel though. I'm not always a fan of people of any size approaching me. I'm working on it though!!
ReplyDelete~hugs~
Mia
We think you found the best forever home. Wonder if C is available to come here to give us pets
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Little peoples can be scarey...mom has to be careful when we go on walks cause I don't like strangers coming up to me, let alone noisy, squeaking, little strangers. But I do have my little peeps I know that I love!!
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable but so are you :)
ReplyDeleteLicks, hero
We're kind of scared of the little sticky beans too. You look like you're really comfy with C.
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids and Angel Sniffie

ReplyDeleteWoofs & hugs,
~Bailey (Yep, I'm a girl!)
Little ones sure can be scary... I'm still afraid of them every now and then. Glad you're coming around to that cutie girl! I'm thinking I need to find one who will pet me all the time...

"Little" bipeds can seem awfully BIG to a little dog - not that you are such a tiny thing - but even so - they are still bigger. I am sure you will be best buddies in no time at all
ReplyDeleteAll three of you are super cute!
ReplyDeleteOhhh Lightning I thinks you is doing a great job of gettin used to everypeep specially the little ones. To me they ALL look huge! BOL
ReplyDeleteYou is doin a pawsome job!
woos, Tessa
It sounds like you're adjusting very well. We'd like some little people to play with. Sky especially would like one to throw his ball. Mom only does it a few times, then she quits.
ReplyDeleteMorgan, Tsar and the Porties
Lightning, we are so proud of you for giving the little humans a chance. They are really very loving and will prove to be excellent playmates once you get to know them better.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have a double share of hugs there. Beautiful hugs too :-) x x x
ReplyDeleteHi L.B.! I am glad you got used to the bi-peds and are having a nice time with them!
ReplyDeleteI love all little kids I have met with. Our neighbor has a day care and we walk by now and then. They surround me and pet me and I love it all. I see lots of them at the library too.
Kisses,
Stella
Hi Lightning, you are doing so well. My mum cares for four little bi-peds three days a week, so I have had lots to do with them. I love them, especially the ones that wear nappies. They smell soooo good. hehehe. P.S. I think you are very handsome (blush). No worries, and love, Stella
ReplyDeleteC is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI've heard about those calming collars and wondered just how well they worked. Plus, how DO they work? Shiver gets anxious in new situations and around dogs he doesn't know. I wonder if something like this might help him.
You are lucky Lightning to have little bipeds to cuddle. AND sometimes they have stuff on their faces that you can lick off.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, kendra & Bella
Lightning I think BOTH C. & J. are super cute two leggers!!
ReplyDeleteI am sooooo glad that you are not afraid of the scary shoes any longer. You have done some MAJOR learning in a very SHORT time. I'm thinkin you must be very very smart.
Lightning, your bipeds are adorable!! I have lost all of mine for now because of school but it was so much fun to have them here. The three of you look so happy!!!! Precious for sure!!! Lots of love, Holly & Mom
ReplyDeleteWhen you are a tiny bit older, Lightning, you will really appreciate them! They'll play with you until the cows come home!
ReplyDeleteWe nose jus' how it is, Lightning. We has a set of 4-year-old twins visiting us all da time too. Da boy is more active den da girl!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you're making friends with them. You will learn that they are not that bad, they will even sneak you food once in awhile. :)
ReplyDeleteMan-oh-man Lightning, our brother Hannibal says he is moving to your house. He LOVES those mini-bipeds. I am not sure what they are so I usually hide out.
ReplyDeleteWe like your stretching moves and think you are a future exercise and stretch model!
