Today we would like to join the blogging community of friends in paying tribute to a very special lady.
Beautiful Lady Lilac from Tales and Tails, one of our favorite blogs. Miss Lilac reached the grand age of 16 just a short while ago and brought great joy and love to her family. Sadly she told her loving Mr. and Mrs. Taleteller that it was time for her to cross that bridge and move to a life of eternal youth and good health. We only knew her for a couple of years but we so enjoyed reading about her and her family. She was quite the fascinating pup. If you don't know her, you really should visit Tales and Tails and read through some of the older posts to learn more about this sweet girl and her wonderful family. Soft woos and gentle hugs from the OP Pack to Mr. and Mrs. Taleteller, Bunny, Blueberry, and Morgan.
Run free, dear Lilac, and give our best to all our furry pals there enjoying the good life with you now.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

ReplyDeleteA nice tribute to quite a lady! Lilac will be missed!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words for a beautiful lady. Our condolences to Lilac's family.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the very kind words! Lilac was one of a kind, and I think that's probably best for the world, but I will miss her stubborn ways for the rest of my days. I wonder if she knew what was in store for her when she packed up her plastic collar and left the farm in Kansas eight and three quarters years ago. I'm sure she never dreamed that so many people were waiting to know and love her!
ReplyDeleteI left my condolences earlier on her blog. I don't think I ever get over - or stop crying about - the loss we feel when we lose a good friend, whether that friend walks on two feet or four.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful tribute to Miss Lilac.
ReplyDeleteOur hearts go out to her family.
Such a sweet tribute for a beautiful girl.
ReplyDeleteOur deepest condolences and prayers for her and family.
