We usually walk two at a time, but Mom says she has to be careful, so we each got to go one at a time with her. We wish we had a video to share, but once again, she says she needs to concentrate on what her feet are doing so we don't have a repeat accident. Hopefully it won't be too long before we can get back to our normal routine.
We did get some fun photos for you. We have all been wanting to have our picture taken with Santa. Luckily one of the houses up the street still has their Christmas decorations set up.
This is how it looks during the day. That big mess in the back is a humongous inflatable Santa. He probably stands about 12 feet tall when he is fully inflated.
Thunder seems pretty happy to share some time with Santa and the Penguin Elves.
Ciara tried to get this Elf to put a good word in with the big red jolly fellow for next year.
Phantom said he thought this was pretty boring, especially when he can see a cute little kitty up the street. Let's get this walk underway, Mom.
And last but never least, what did Lightning think of Santa? See that back paw firmly planted in the grass - "You really think I am going to go over there, Mom???"
Absolutely, pawsitively, without a doubt, NO WAY!!!
"You are such a wimp, Lightning. Look at me - this is just silly."
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning.
Pee Ess - please keep the Power of the Paw vibes coming. Our pal K and her human KB and another friend Maggie, the beautiful Airedale from Maggie and Mitch's blog, need all the help we can give them. And there are a lot of other furries out there who need our support too. We would love to mention all of them, but we worry we might forget someone.
Great photos! We're laffin' at Lightning but we would probably feel the same way!!
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
Wow,,you'll get your cardio in walking them one at a time but I understand. We don't want to bump that arm.
ReplyDeleteHey,,those inflatables are scary!! Love the last picture.
Glad your mom is on the mend and walks have resumed! Be safe!
ReplyDeleteThat was so nice of your neighbor to let you take pix in their yard.

ReplyDeleteDachshund Nola
Oh I know exactly what's going thru your head during walks now. I'm now terrified of falling. Before breaking my wrist I never gave it a thought. Now we have nightlites thru out the house. Rob says he needs sunglasses to sleep at night, but the thought of falling and breaking that wrist yet again is awful.
ReplyDeleteAwesome pics!!
ReplyDeleteMom absolutely loves the one with Phantom's big smile!!
Enjoy your day and take care of your momster!
Cheers
Maxx

Slobbers,

That's Phantom at the bottom right? I'm still debating whether to pick Lightning's reaction of Phantom's smile as the best picture of the post.
ReplyDeleteNice one guys!

ReplyDeletePhantom, Arty is headed over to cuddle with you. She says you looks like a very sweet doggie. Uh pal don't try to chase her she may be little but she is REALLY MEAN.(Fenris wooing)
Lightening, you are too funny being scared of Santa.
Ciara, you are looking gorgeous as always.
Happy New Year from all of us to all of you.
I'n glad Mom's arm is well enough to let you guys walk. I'd be wary of them elves though.... they can be pretty sneaky!
ReplyDeleteAlways best to concentrate on the feet! My humans never do, and since I'm a small pug it means that I'm always getting stepped on!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Years and have a fun and safe holiday!
Way to go, Momster. Have you ever told her about our High Sierra Walk-a-Belts? That way she walk hands free. Sometimes. The hu-dad uses that free hand to use a hiking stick for extra balance.
ReplyDeleteGreat to know things are healing.
ReplyDeleteHave a great New Year Guys :-) XXX
Your mom must be super woman to go on FOUR separate walks on the same day.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the photo of Phantom laughing, so cute and so happy to see him still doing so well.
Hi Woos, Loved seeing you all with the Christmas decorations! Hopefully your mom will be back to normal soon; just take it easy with her o.k.

You guys look so adorable with Santa. I wish I saw this earlier and told you to say hi to him from me. My humans have not been able to take me on long walks like they used to before either because once they moved to TN the male human was not working for a bit but now they both work for 12 hours a day and so it had become impossible to take me out. They have been talking about putting me in a doggy day care for the time they go to work. Right now I have a walker but they are thinking of putting me in day care for 2 days and the dog walker coming in for the rest of the three days so that all in all I get some more exercise and get to meet more dogs. Wish me luck!
ReplyDeleteMakes me smile all the time when i see you guys. Take care of Mom! Happy new year!
ReplyDeleteWe're just getting around to all the blog posts from the holidays. Jack LOVES those PENGIES!!!!!
