Monday Mischief?



Maybe NOT!



 Hey, you two lazy lumps!  What's the matter with you?




 Mom, they won't play with me!  They both say it is too HOT!



 
 
Sigh. 



And then there is this silly boy who won't come in out of the heat!



What???? That 97 degrees + feels good on these old bones.  Don't make me come in, Mom.




They all need to learn to be like me and find the spot right under that cool air vent:)

    Them there ac vents are better when they are in the floor, then dad yells to move cause we are blocking all the air. Silly dad, its first come, first served

    97???? Yoicks, thats way too hot for us. We are supposed to get 85 tomorrow and the rest of the week and even THAT is too hot for me and the Black dog.

    That's over 30 degrees hotter than here! We don't even have sunpuddles to lay in though so we envy Phantom. Lightning, we'd play with you!

    Hi there, Hunter loves to lay on top of the cold air vent as well or on the tile floor where its cooler. We hit about 104 today so we are staying in too.

    Oh Phantom, I am kind of jealous. I like the sun, too, but I am not allowed to spend much time outside (on hot days) because of my heart condition. The vet doesn't want me getting overheated. Soak up some sun for me, OK?

    The hots is coming back here just in time fur weekend hiking. Boo. At least the ceiling fan blows cold air from the cold air blower right into my hidey spot on ME!

    We have floor vents and because I keep laying on top of vents, Jen got me a couple of fans to blow the air around. Now i lay in front of a fan. :-)

    The Newfs have been laying on the sir vents too! At first I thought the air conditioner was broken, but then I realized that they were just sucking up all the cold air!

    Careful, you may lose that prime spot under the air vent if you let them know how great it is.

    We feel the heat too and its pull to just snooze somewhere cool...with maybe a BIT of warmth on our back! Somebody give Lightning a list of household chores...that's what momma does when Michael says he's bored!

    Lightning it must be so hard sometimes to find playmates. I wish I could play with you. Phantom, please go inside before you get sicky from the heat. I know it does feel good though, sometimes I like to go out and lay in the warm sun and Mommy thinks I am crazy.

    Phantom, you're as nuts as my dogs! Between the heat and humidity we get it can easily be over 100 degrees and those silly dogs will lay on the deck right out in the sun!! Crazy!!

    We think Fiona may be trying to work on her tan, but it doesn't explain the darker coated dogs. BOL!

    You know, Shiver never seems to want to come in either! He's a little black dog, so I worry about him being out in that heat and getting too hot. Doesn't seem to bother him though.
