Meanwhile, we thought we would try to participate in Norwood's Dog Days of Summer August Photo Challenge. 

So today, August 2, we are "sleeping".  Well, seems like we have done a lot of that this summer, too hot for much of anything else.

Well, I WAS sleeping until the flashy beast disturbed my slumber.

Thunder whispers, "Shhhhh, a rare moment when the Energizer is at rest."

Didn't last long - who needs sleep when there is mischief fun to be had?

 Yesterday, August 1, we were supposed to show you our "smiles", but we were too busy watching and wishing for snow, or at least some cooler temps.  So let's use that photo above for our first smile shot.  We do enjoy smiling, it makes life so much nicer.

Who wouldn't smile for a tasty treat?
