This Woo is Wondering on Wednesday . . .

What did I do wrong, Wyatt?  Maybe you need to come give me some gardening lessons.

Some guy was here Monday and put two of these green weeds in MY exploration patch.  I really didn't think they belonged here so I decimated them!!!  BOTH of them.  Mom says they were two new liriopes or something like that, but they sure looked like weeds to me.  NOW she has put two other new ones, day lilies, in cages - you can see one behind me to my right.  I think those day lilies need to be eradicated too.  For some reason, the Momster is not too happy with me.

Oh, and I think there are four new shrubs around here somewhere - I think I am going to be a very busy gardener.

Woos - Lightning

Pee Ess - I didn't even get my footsies too dirty - Mom hasn't quite figured out that one.

  1. Hi Woos! We're your newest follower. You are quite the gorgeous pack of huskies.

Lightning, you don't look pleased with your mom's attempt at prettying up the garden. I think my dogs would do the same and think "these do not belong here!"

    Happy Wednesday!

  2. Yikes. Hope Wyatt comes through with some good advice. I think you may be in trouble, Lightning.

  5. You just have to keep those weeds at bay or they will take over and you will have no where to dig :)

  6. Oh dear I bet your mum is so not happy but if you didn't help then there would be nothing for the gardener to do MOl.. Hugs GJ xx

  7. Gardening is a very hard work. Frosty, the Husky was always peeing on people who changed something in the back yard :o)

  8. You should think about this, Lightning as your Mom may decide to move to things with THORNS!!!!

  9. If anyone can help you it's Wyatt. But I say you are off to a good start in the gardening department. You gotta get a little dirty when you garden. And things sometimes have to be moved around and even removed.

  10. Oh boy...Wyatt should surely know what to do!! :)

We had some potted plants on our patio when Riley was a puppy...she destroyed them! My sister wants us to plant a raised bed in our backyard this year, so we shall see how that goes...!

  15. OH MY WORD LIGHTNING!

I feel your pain. I was out and just casually picked a tulip to munch and Mrs. Master was SO SO SO MAD. What's her deal?

Anyway, you guy were right about Ollie keeping his lasers on Mrs. Master. He actually never takes his eyes off her. What you can't see in the photo is that Master is in the kitchen making pop corn and that's why I'm looking the other way.

Ok...one more thing to my very long comment. We have a TON of lirope and please let your mom know that Mrs. Master would be happy to dig up a clump or two or four for your mom.

  20. Oh my Brother from another Mother....I don't understand the peeps either!!!! As you can tell from my yardie, all Ma's plants are in 'jail'. Something abouts me 'sampling' them as I walk by.
I understand. You were just helpin'!! That dirt just looks too good not to touch, too! Oh, that looks like TONS of fun!! hehehe
I have my eye on a new plant, you could join me!! It looks like it needs to be 'relocated'! BOL

  21. Uh oh... Lightning. We hope Wyatt gets this message quick and give you advise. We need help too especially Wai-Max and Frappie. They always try to help Piappies Mama to clean up the garden but she doesn't seem to be happy when they pull out greenies.

  22. Oh no Lightning, did you kind of dig up those new plants. Maybe someone else did that, like a rabbit of some sort. Those were way too tempting not to dig up. Have a great day. No more digging.

  23. If your feet aren't dirty you can always blame "Some doggie". We think you're doing a great job. Mom doesn't appreciate our gardening advice either.

  24. I think the fact that your footsies aren't dirty is all the evidence we need. You are clearly innocent of these crimes!

  27. Lightning,

For inspiration, you might want to check in on Bob and Sophie's new blog - -- if you haven't been already, they're the new puppers who are helping fill the heart holes left by Wilf and Digby in southwest France.

Sophie -- at less than two months -- has succeed in demolishing all kinds of vegetation: bulbs, peonies, irises, etc. Watching her dig is awe-inspiring. (Don't tell the Momster!!!)

    Wirey love,

  31. The only good plant is a plant destroyed by Huskies. Good job Lightning.

    Remy and Flash

    Aren't all plants weeds?

  32. You look so proud of yourself! As you should!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Well, clearly if your feets are clean it wasn't you so maybe some weed hater sneaked in in the middle of the night and decimated them!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Oh boy Lightning! I bet your Momma gave you an ear full when she saw what you did!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Typists dog did that yesterday too - were you in cohorts?? And he's eaten all the flowers in a tub they planted!

    ReplyDelete
  36. We think it was rude of that guy to put those green weeds in your patch! Of course you should get rid of them.

We are curious about how you did it and kept your paws clean. Are you being framed?

  39. I agree with Benny and Lily. If the plants are in jail, they're the ones in trouble. Start worrying if you end up behind bars.
