It IS May 2nd, right? It WAS 80 degrees F here on Monday and Tuesday and 78 yesterday, right? And we had to turn on the a/c because it was so warm in the house.
What's up with this? The local TV station sent out an alert on Mom's iPad that said: The National Weather Service has issued an alert for an "exceptionally rare May snowfall expected across the area."
Then we saw warnings on the TV for Winter Weather Advisory????? Huh, since when is May winter????
The Royals baseball game was postponed after playing a few innings due to "SNOW"!!!

OK, Mom - I am out here now, but this snow sure isn't worth anything. I can't possibly do the siberian snooter slide with this bit of snow.
Guess I may as well do a yard patrol while I am out here.

Silly pups!!!You don't see ME out there, do you? Not enough snow to make it worth my efforts. I think I will just stay here and use my special blue-eyed stare to wheedle some treats from Mom.
More snow and then lots of rain tomorrow, so maybe by Saturday Mother Nature will be back to normal. Be sure to stop by on Saturday - something about seeing double.

ReplyDeleteMe get no snow here but we have a lot of thunderstorms recently. One of the lightnings killed my mom's computer. She said the motherboard was hit by the lightning so Dad had to get something new to replace it and he spent hours on fixing it. Mom is always restless and moody when her computer isn't working and I'm so glad everything is back to normal now.

Same weather wackiness in Albuquerque! Frankly, the WDA is getting tired of running out to cover up the crops to avoid freeze...it is MAY for dog's sake!

Down in Southern Minnesnowda, where they think the weather is better than us up-staters, they got 10 - 17 inches of new snow.

I heard the weavver peeples say that about snow in your 'hood last night and woz wonnering if'n the wevver peeples had been lapping some whiskey out of their water bowls. Guess not.

We got a little more snow than you did and it's still falling. It isn't enough to really romp, but it's fun anyway. The water in our pool has ice floating in it. Wow!
