The best of buddies.
Thunder's sister Ciara has been sticking by his side.
What's wrong with him, Mom?
He just lies there all day.
Mom says he is sick, but he has lots of peeps and pups pulling for him. Thank you all for your support. I really love my big brother and want him to be better.
Not much change today. TD ate a very tiny bit more of plain chicken and a bit of peanut butter. Mom has tried all sorts of things but he isn't interested. The vet told Mom today to stop the doxycycline for now since it was only being prescribed as a precaution. It could be adding to his tummy upset. If things are not better by Monday, she is sending Thunder to an internal specialist.
Woos - The OP Pack
THUNDER you MUST get to feeling better... and EATING will help you do that. EAT BUDDY.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you today Thunder.
ReplyDeleteGet better soon, it's summer outside and the sun is coming out. There are things to explore in the yard and on walks.

Paws crossed! Maybe your should try something called "Nutri-Cal"; it's a really tasty paste that's full of vitamins and calories. I think you can find it at PetSmart or Petco.
ReplyDeleteNola
Here's something else to try: http://www.holisticdog.org/Nutrition/Satinballs/satinballs.html
ReplyDeleteCan you get goat's milk? Nola's gone through two stomach issues where she refuses to eat anything (chicken, yogurt, food, nothing) for 1-2 days, and my vet recommended giving her warm goat's milk. It works like a charm!
Nola's Mom
You're lucky to have such a caring sister Thunder. Hope you will start eating soon.

I'm just getting caught up and I'm sorry to read that Thunder is not feeling well. I have heard of IMHA but I don't know much about it and wish I could over some insight. The first thing that came to mind was some sort of internal bleeding but I see that wasn't found, so that's good! I'll be keeping Mr. Thunder in my thoughts and hope that he is feeling better very soon!
ReplyDeleteOh maybe it's the "cycline" and how can he not get better with sweet Ciara right there cheering him on. He's gonna get better soon,,,we're praying so.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great sibling you are!!!
ReplyDeleteStop on by for a visit

I dunno what's going on in the Universe, but we've had our share of sickness around here too. Sorry I'm late to offer my well wishes, but I am hoping Thunder starts eating soon. Maybe you could tempt him by leaving out the garbage? That always works for me!
