Is it morning already??? Some little girl pup here woke me up in the middle of the night! Oh, are you wondering about my leg - I do have another front one, but I like to tuck it under my belly.
No, Mom, I don't want my breakfast, and I surely don't want those pills! (Note from Mom - he is impossible to give medicine to, and his eating is really deteriorating.)
I wish my furs would grow in and cover that ugly bald spot on my tail. (The lumpy bumpy continues to grow:(
Sheesh, I do try but I just don't feel like it - and meds - YUCK!
Hey, I need some help here, Mom. Where IS Ciara?
I already looked in all her favorite spots.
WAAAAAAA - I am not having any luck. Ruby Girl, wanna come play today?
\
Guess I may as well just relax and wait for something fun to happen.
Peek-a-boo!!!
Shhhhh, don't tell him where I am. I had a rough night and I want to rest.
Maybe I can sleep with one eye open in case HE tries to come along and pounce on me. (Another note from Mom: Ciara was up twice last night, very agitated and panting heavily, but no seizure. Doctor says it may have been some sort of neurological event and to keep an eye on her.)
Look at that beautiful smile!!! |
We are so very sad to learn of the passing of Sweet Daisy from Downunder Daisy. We are sending warm thoughts to HER, Bella, and Roxy. Daisy is now having a grand time with Kendra, and all the other wonderful furries across the Rainbow Bridge.
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend and get extra hugs from your humans and give them some sloppy kisses. Life is too short not to show how much you love and are loved.
Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
We agree with you, life is to short, so love the ones you are with!!
ReplyDeleteHugs to you

we love you guys and we worry so much about Mr Old Blue Eyes and Miss Ciara Baby Doll.....yes we special names for you both....we think of you often - especially when we don't hear anything for a few days. We figure Lightning a just a big bouncy boy. We were very said about Miss Daisy...especially so cause she is back home and anything about home makes Mom sad.
ReplyDeleteWe hope you WILL take your medicine.. it HELPS you...
ReplyDeleteSorry that Ciara had a late night episode of some sort...
We have our Paws TIGHTLY CROSSED fur BOTH of you..
We feel so Sad about Daisy.. SHE and Bella and Roxy are all in our thoughts..
Hi, Melon here. Cocoa is still around but I haven't felt like being him (I hope I'm not going to get kicked out of Blogville for saying that out loud), and since things have been difficult for me it can be hard to deal with Cocoa. Anyway, just wanted to suggest crushing up Phantom's pills, dissolving them in water and syringing the liquid into his mouth/down his throat? You're probably doing something similar already, but just suggesting. I know it's not pleasant for you, but it works on guinea pigs. (Syringe-feeding is a very normal part of caring for an ill pig.)
ReplyDeleteYour guys are lucky to have someone who loves them so much and cares for them so well, and the personalities they have on this blog are great!
Melon
Phantom, we hope you take your pills or at least start eating more! Ciara, we hope you're doing better since we don't want any more of those seizures! Please have your mom give all three of you snooter smooches from us!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words about our Daisy. We'll miss that girl.
ReplyDeleteWe think Phantom NEEDS fish treats..
And Ciara, we totally understand having to get away from annoying pups at times--especially me, Bella. That Roxy is just too much sometimes.
XXXOOO Bella & Roxy
I love seeing photos of your beautiful pack... but my heart sank as I realized that you all were having a rough time. We send hugs to all of you, and hope with all our hearts that things take a turn for the better.
ReplyDeleteAll of your pups are so beautiful.
Hugs to Phantom, sweet old boy.
ReplyDeleteSometimes you must feel like the sky is falling on you. So many worries,, and your trying to keep everyone well and happy and not hurt.
ReplyDeleteWe of course send healing thoughts to Phantom- and that his tail is not too uncomfortable, and that whatever is wrong with Ciara--that it would just go away and leave her alone.
We love you all-- please know it.

Oh, Sweet Daisy..I'm gonna miss that gurl bunches! I bets she's causin' all kinds of rukus' up at the Bridge!
ReplyDeleteOMD, Lightning, I'm be RIGHT OVERS!!! You knows I am always up for some zoomies and some troubles!! hehehe Oooo, do you still have snow?? That would be FABulous!!! Anyhu, I'll gets in my tunnel and be rights over in the morning!
Phantom, just be lucky your Moms doesn't do what my Ma does...if I don't wanna take my pills, she just holds my beard, opens my mouth and puts them down with her finger! Meanie. I would insist on those tasty fish treaties Bella was talkin' abouts! Fishes are most delish ya know!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Hi all you pretty pups!
ReplyDeleteFirst Mom wants Phantom to eat something good and take his pills. She wants Ciara to overcome these neurological things, and she wants Lightning to find a good playmate. She is making some prays for these things.

That was so sad about Daisy. We didn't know her but wish we had. Phantom, now listen up, you had better start eating or we will send the donkeys over there to give you a gentle swift kick start. And Ciara, no more of that stuff scaring your Mom.
ReplyDeleteWe sure send lots of purrs and prayers to both of you, Phantom and Ciara. Sorry so much is going on. That is so hard. Take care.
You have your hands full. There is a YouTube video about using chicken hearts to give dogs medicine. We were lucky with Sam - he took everything we gave him, but we thought the chicken heart idea was good.

ReplyDeleterest easy Daisy...I had read about this on someone elses blog as well. Although I never knew Daisy, my heart goes out to her family.

You are so right life is too short and we must grab it while we are here and show love. I am sorry you had a bad night Ciara and I hope it settles soon. Phantom come on sweety and try and eat a little. Love and hugs to you all.
ReplyDeleteMommy makes me eat my meds every day and there's just no escaping her!
ReplyDeleteDo try to eat a little more, Phantom. Your body needs the nutrients so your furs can grow back and close up that bald spot. :)
Ciara, I hope you'll be okay and be back to your playful self. Lightning misses you!
...Whisky
Oh Phantom, try and have a little bit of something to eat. We agree those meds are yucky, blegh :)
