We waited and waited and waited for the snow to come, but by early morning all we got was about two inches of sleet - not so much fun to race through.
SomePup spent lots of time waiting, and finally by about noon, a big snow shower arrived.
BIG??? It barely covers my paws.
Here is how I like to get my Easy On Sunday going.
Lightning must be watching for more snow to come.
There has to be more on the way - that weather guy said 6-10 inches - how could he be THAT far off???
Don't look now, Ciara, but I think Mom has busted you chewing on that landscape edging.
Oops!
Wistful dreaming of my younger days when I could run and romp and roll through the snow.
What do you mean I can't go out in the cold, Mom? I AM a Siberian even if it is close to ZERO degrees out there.
Guess I will just take a nap by the door so I can slip out the next time it opens.
SUCCESS!!!
Watch out, Lightning - here comes Ciara!!!
No sign of Spring in our yard!
Boys on alert!
Hello, anybody in there??? I hate to admit it, but Mom was right.
Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
WE were supposed to get that same amount... butt this morning the weather blabber guy said two thingys had happened... it had WEAKENED and it was moving FASTER... So far we only have a tiny bit of Icey stuffs and a bit over 3 inches of Snow on top... BUTT it is still snowing here... so MAYBE you will get MORE.. YOU can have ALL of OURS if you want to come get it...

ReplyDeletewe are getting lots of sleet tight now and freezing rain...but they are saying maybe 4 inches of snow too - not sure that is going to be good on top of ice.

ReplyDeleteWell, some snow is better than none...right?
ReplyDeleteDear boys and girl,
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for you, that you have snow at last! We had this year only two or three days with a little bit of it and it has been a very strange and warm winter over here! I love snow like a Siberian Husky does and so I enjoy your beautiful pics!
Love
Arno
PS:Dear Phantom, you are so right, that you go outside! It doesn't matter if you stayed only a little bit there: the most important thing is that you had fun there!
Love
Arno
Looks like fun! For a furry bunch, that it. ;)

You all have the best time when it's snowing.
ReplyDeleteHard to believe Lightning is not a puppy any more. They all look so beautiful having a snow day.
xo Cinnamon
Yeah, I bet that was a big let down for you guys. I often wonder the same thing about the weather predictor. I could tell the weather better than they can!
ReplyDeleteThe snow looks so pretty! And you three look fabulous in it, too. Hope you had lots of fun! Much love, The Scottie Mom.
ReplyDeleteWe are amazed by how much you sibes love that snow!
ReplyDeleteTwo inches of sleet is what we got, too. The snow is just starting here. (10:54 pm) It's gonna be a cold one, furriends!
Happy Monday!
XOXO
You Sibes are true snow dogs in every sense of the word, whether you are young or old. And to answer you question. Yes gently used books are welcome and much appreciate!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
That's all the snow you have?? My goodness we have 3 feet at least. Come by our way guys and we'll have a Siberian Blast!!
ReplyDeleteLast week the weather man said we were going to get 1-3 inches of snow and we got a FOOT in like 7 hours!!
They never know what they are talking about!!
I don't think I'll ever get you woofies... that snow stuff does not look nice!
ReplyDeleteSome snow is better than none, right, Woos? ;)
ReplyDeleteWe're so happy to see all of you playing in the snow. You look so happy!
That has us smiling...huskies enjoying the snow and ice--even it is only a little. Get out there and do some zoomies.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Bella &Roxy
Snow much fun pals but Phantom you need to stay warm and cosy and may be just a little romp in the white stuff. Alas mum is always right. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Mommy got cold just looking at all that white stuff. We know you guys love it but thank goodness it doesn't snow in our part of Texas. It'[s below 30 here today and that's plenty cold enough for us.
ReplyDeleteStay warm at least.
♥♥♥Mona & Prissy
The world is so crazy! When you are having your snow, we are having a drought.
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you all had some snow, and your pictures are beautiful.
This may be one freezing cold snowy scene but seeing all of you playing together in the snow warms my little Puggy heart!
ReplyDeleteI love to see you all having fun in the snow even if it is just paw deep, Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning you seemed to enjoy every second of it, I'm glad that you managed to slip out to see the snow Phantom! Lightning you almost blend in completely!
Enjoy the snow, I will be Wooooing from my wet weather thinking about yoooooou all!
Love your Woo-in-training Frank xxxxxxx
BOL how different our yard looks, we actually have flowers blooming. We are very thankful we live here and not there. We are not fond of COLD.
ReplyDeleteAll of you looked like you had a good time. Sorry you got cold Phantom.
Huskies in the snow - how great! We got some lonely snow flakes yesterday, I tried to catch them for you, but they melted immediately on my tongue. Have fun and enjoy the snow
ReplyDeleteStay inside where it is nice and snuggly!
ReplyDeleteMonty and Harlow
Yay Phantom - you got to romp in the snow! :)
ReplyDeleteOh Phantom, you look so happy out there in the snow. Glad you all got a little bit of the white stuff to play in. So go for it Lightning and Ciara. Great pictures. We enjoyed them all. Take care and huge for that Phantom.
ReplyDeleteWooHooooo snow, get the sledges out guys, I'm coming over :) xxoxxx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
It all came our way!
ReplyDeletestella rose
Brrrr! Glad you're getting the snow and not us!
ReplyDeleteif it's any consolation, you still got more in one day than I've had all winter!
ReplyDeleteif it's any consolation, you still got more in one day than I've had all winter!
ReplyDeleteCiara and Lightning you two were having a fine time traipsing about in the itty bitty snow storm.
ReplyDeletePhantom...I think you might just sit by the door the young'uns can bring the snow to you.
Lots of hugs madi your bfff
Phantom, our Chloe is right there with you...in theory, she wants to be outside, but once she is, our tropical Husky can't wait to be back in! And we'd take snow over sleet any day, too! It's been quite a winter! Our rehabbing Sibes have had enough since they can't go out and play, they just rather spring came so they can at least be out on the deck. Here's to either fluffy snow or nicer weather! (But then doesn't that mean m-u-d??!)
ReplyDeleteSibes and snow...nice combination...and smart move on Phantom's part. Purring that Ciara's vet visits will give a path for treatment and that Phantom is comfortable in his senior years...paw hugs, Savvy
ReplyDeleteWell, a bit of snow is better than none isn't it.
ReplyDeleteGlad you managed to sneak out for a couple of seconds Phantom.
Dip and Elliot x
We were supposed to get 2-4 inches of snow today, but we probably have maybe one inch...and it's stopped falling now. We have a yard full of sleet pellets, too.
ReplyDeletePhantom, we're glad you slipped out the back door, even if it did get quite cold out there!! :)
Oh I'm so glad you got to go out though!! You all look stunning out there in the snow!
ReplyDeleteWe got a bunch of snow here also! woohoo and Aroooooos!
