One bodyguard. |
The other bodyguard. |
Wonder what they are guarding? |
Just resting peacefully. |
All rested - now to get out and get that critter! |
Why can't I chase it? |
OK - time for more resting. |
Note from Mom: We increased Phantom's tramadol intake last week, along with his deramaxx. We added gabapentin on Saturday, and he will now be getting his Adequan injections every two weeks or maybe even weekly if they seem to add more comfort for him. Overall, he is holding his own. He is a bit better than last week, but spends most of his day just resting. When he is at his best, his eyes continue to sparkle and he eats what I like to call "Phantom-style", not much, but at least something. He IS my fighter.
As long as he's comfortable and happy. The sparkle in the eye is always the key.
ReplyDeleteKeep chowing down and doing good Phantom, we are all here cheering you on.
ReplyDeleteKeep on going, Phantom!
ReplyDeleteNola

Phantom, glad you are doing a bit better. I can't tell what all that guarding is about either. Seems a little strange to me.
ReplyDeleteWe're so glad to hear that Phantom is doing well! He looks wonderful! Our mommy took tramadol and just one put her in and out of awareness and she ended up with bruises all over her body from running into things. She doesn't remember what and we're not telling!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good fight Phantom.

Thinking of you and Phantom.
ReplyDeleteOh that is great news. Sorry I didn't see this sooner. Tramadol is good stuff. We had one of our dogs on that. If he is still happy and eating a little bit, all is good. We think about you all the time Phantom and say lots of prayers for you. Hope all of you have a great day.
ReplyDeleteHe's looking a bit better. What's gabapentin? Morgan took Adequan shots weekly for awhile after she injured her knees. Her back legs are pretty weak now so we'll probably start them again after her May checkup.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that Phantom is doing well. We are thinking of him.
