I am not doing anything wrong, Mom. I FOUND something down here. I think it might be that elusive Easter Bunny.
I know I saw something in there. I think my pal Ruby is right - she said it had to be the rabbits that stole Mom's spikey things from her pots.
I think the rabbits dug a hole and stole some of my furs to use in that hole. I can see some white fuzzy stuff in that hole
I can't see you, but I can hear you.
I don't care about the treats in your hand, Mom. And no, I am not interested in going for a walk or getting a car ride. I have to stay focused.
Maybe if I close my eyes really tight and make a wish, I will see it again.
See, can't you hear them? OMD, there are squeakers in there.
I think there are baby bunnies in there, Mom.
The Momster: NOW WHAT DO WE DO?
Woos, Lightning and Mom
We think Lightning is going to be sitting in that spot for a long time. Perhaps it's time for the NoSibe fence....

ReplyDeleteYou have Baby Bunnies??? They are sooooooo cute. I (Frankie Furter) loved taking care of the bunnies that were born in MY garden... two years in a row..
ReplyDeleteButt then they grew up and ran away and would not be my furends.
Enjoy watching them... while you can. They will be gone before you know it.

Well good job Lightning finding those baby bunnies. I guess just let the bunnies grow up and hop away when the dogs are in the house. Probably need to figure out a way to keep Lightning away from them. Good luck to you. That is a hard one. Wonder if a wildlife person would come and take the bunnies somewhere. Bet they are cute.
ReplyDeleteThat is gonna be a challenge.
ReplyDeleteBunny stew

OMD! We have discovered a little bunny at our house!!! And it appears to be living under our front steps and our deck. Or there is more than one. He goes through the lattice just like yours!!! maybe they have a magic tunnel from our house to yours! Dad got a picture of him last evening.

Such powers of concentration.
ReplyDeleteNow, be a good boy, Lightning!
Woofs,
Tommy
I agree with you, no treats and no walks can be better than a rabbit hole in your yard. Be careful, hope it isn't the same rabbit hole what led Alice to the wonderland. Have a good friday, hope you will find a way to solve the problem.
ReplyDeleteUh oh! Fun times ahead for all of woo! :)
ReplyDeleteOH.MY.DOG.!!!! I knew it!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLightning, I'll be right overs ~ between the two of us, we should be able to dig a hole under that lattice and gets the bunnies!
Nows, what shall we do with em' once we gets them???? Bunny stew?? Or, we could put them to work as our dog-servants bringin' us treaties and margaritas! Hmmm, think all their hopping will spill the margaritas???
Anyhu, I'll gets in my transport tunnel...be there soon!

ReplyDeleteSorry mom! :(
Well, I know what I'D do .... but neither your mom nor mine would be too happy about it.
ReplyDeleteMaybe once the baby buns get big enough, they'll move.
Cammie!
Oh, my. It sounds like Lightning has quite a job cut out for him!
ReplyDeleteToo bad I was off-site and missed the Ops VP at my company rescuing the baby bird from between the walls earlier this week. I could send him to help with whatever relocation efforts could happen... ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat investigation skills, Lightning! You'll have to keep as posted on those baby bunnies :)

ReplyDeleteWAS IT?? Was it?? Da E-Bunny!!!
ReplyDelete(got eggs?)
We had mice build a nest in our grill over the winter. Despite the fact that the hu-dad removed the mice weeks ago, Typhoon sits for hours and stares at the base of the grill for a mouse to return.
ReplyDeleteShrug - at least he is occupied doing that.
oh no! they will love your flower bed for snacks!
ReplyDeleteYou'd better stay on guard Lightning, who know's what mischief those bunnies are going to get up to!
ReplyDeleteHaha - Sam used to catch them and bring them to me alive. I don't really trust Monty or Harlow...
ReplyDeleteMonty and Harlow
I TOLD you the puppehs didn't do it!!!
ReplyDeleteok... IF you think the really did do it... some kinda icky advice: Put their poop in the plants for a few weeks. ("Refresh" with fresh poop occasionally!) That's usually long enough to train them that the potted plants are not for them. It worked for my Maggie.
Sorry if I grossed you out!
oh baby bunnies are so cute, I hope your mom can find a way to help the little guys. Seems like moms and pups don't always agree on baby bunnies (that's our moms experience)
ReplyDeleteretro rover
We can't give any advice. This was a bad week for wildlife. Bailey caught two moles and Sydney caught a bunny. Wish they'd all stay out of the yard.
ReplyDeleteDon't kill the Easter bunny lightning!!! XxxxxxxxX
ReplyDeleteWhat's the Lightning got to do?
ReplyDeleteDid you manage to get the baby bunnies out and play with them, Lightning! I think they will love you.
