Today we thought we would participate in Flower Friday with Dory.
Be sure to check out all the beautiful flowers that Dory, Jakey, Arty, and Bilbo have at their place.
Phantom doesn't get to go very far for his walks these days. Some days he just walks away when Mom takes out the leash, and other days he is willing to go one or two houses up the street and then back home. This was one of his better days - he managed to go six houses UPhill, across the street, and over to the corner where the entryway to our development is. Look what he found.
We all know it is very important to stop and smell the flowers:)
Tulips aren't really my thing, Mom, but if you have some yummy treats in your pocket, I would love some. Then let's head back home.
Now back at home, the big question is - should Mom try to plant some flowers this year?
Now why would you ask THAT, Mom? You KNOW we would love to be your helpful gardeners:)
Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Sweet Phantom reminds us of Ancient Pip. We sometime managed round the block but often we carried her home after a few houses. Bless your old boy. LOL we say you plant we dig. Have a fabulous Friday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Is it time for the NoSibe fence to be installed again?
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Bella & roxy

ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
Those are pretty tulips, Phantom, and we hope your Mom had some yummy treats in her pocket for you!
ReplyDeleteWe'll be curious to hear the outcome of the planting pondering…
Woofs,
Tommy
it so made us smile that Phantom was up to a little longer walk and he did look handsome even if they were pink flowers. Hey what about planting some herds instead of flowers....dogs tend to leave the herbs alone. Lemon balm is excellent - it smells divine, can be used in tea and also helps keeps mosquitoes away :)
ReplyDeleteWell, Phantom may not like tulips very much, but he sure looks handsome sitting next to them!
ReplyDeleteRuby
Phantom, you look so handsome sitting with the Tulips! As for the gardening pawt........hmmmmmm! Excavating, maybe!
ReplyDelete:)
The pic with YOU and the pink two lips is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteTell your mom YES... she should plant flowers... hehehehehe call it the triumph of hOPE over Experience...
So pretty, we can't wait for our flowers to start blooming!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a good find Phantom. Beautiful flowers
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
I agree with you Phantom, they should smell like Bacon or like cheese, then we would love tulips. Of course your mom should have flowers, maybe you can dig some holes in advance?
ReplyDeleteWe don't have much in the flower department going on around here. Phantom looks great next to those tulips.
ReplyDeleteYay, Phantom for going for a little longer walk and you got to see the nice tulips. You do look terrific sitting next to those pretty flowers. Big hugs to you Phantom. Have a great day.
ReplyDeletePhantom, you are very handsome next to those tulips! Ciara and Lightning, we hope your mom plants some flowers for you this year!

Those are terrific photos! have some whiffin' fun gang!
ReplyDeletePhantom you look most handsome standing by the tulips. Glad you took Mom for a good walk.
ReplyDeleteYou could call planting flowers what Frankie calls it or you could call it what my Mom calls it "an exercise in futility". But stick some flowers in the dirt anyway and have fun hoping.
Your pal,
Stella
We definitely think your Mama should plant some flowers....ummmm...but maybe the kind that don't cost lots of money..just in case one gets hurt when you all try to help with the gardening!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your flowers with us Phantom!!!
Smileys!
Dory, Arty, Jakey and Bilbo
I'm happy that Phantom had such a great day and stopped to sniff the tulips (and eat the treats!).
ReplyDeleteI bet those two Sibes will dig the holes for your flowers!
Mom says she's going to wait a couple more weeks before anything gets planted here. The weather has just been too crazy!

My dear friends,
ReplyDeleteyou are so beautiful and I love to watch at you!
Arno
Phantom has always been my favorite, so it makes me sad that he doesn't go far on his walks these days.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad he got a chance to stop and smell the beautiful tulips though!
My first rott would watch me in my garden all day and when I left her alone, she would dig a hole beside everything I had planted! I so wished I could just tell her, "Milly Dig here!" It would've saved me so much work!
ReplyDeleteO Phantom! Just the sight of yeu makes my the Mom put her hand on her heart. Yeu are SO loved!
