Look - we actually do have flowers!!! A trio of pots that were once identical.
Look closely and see if you can discover which one is NOT like the others, or should we say is NO LONGER like the others!!!
Did you find it? This one is missing those spiky thingies in the middle!!!! Just wax begonias and a little cinnamon basil to discourage nibblers:)
Hmmm - what could possibly have happened to them?
Uh, in case you were wondering - I don't do flowers!
Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Ummmmm we have to go with mischief...
ReplyDeleteOtto and Bart, who pee on basil plants
LOL and now for who is guilty????? Alas I always get the blame even if it was the pigeons. Big sigh. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
We know it's mishap, BOL
ReplyDeleteLily and Edward
I think it was the squirrel!
ReplyDeleteOMD a SQUIRREL ate your spikey thingy? OR maybe it was a Stray COW?
ReplyDeleteOh, yum - cinnamon basil!!!
ReplyDeleteI mean .... I wonder who ate the spiky thing? Maybe a bird? Squirrel? CAT?!!??
Cammie!
Clearly you have a plant thief who came in the night and stole your spiky things! Hope he doesn't come again!
ReplyDeleteOh we definitely think it was a Mishap. Lightning, you wouldn't, would you eat the cinnamon basil?? Was it good??? And then again, it could have been a squirrel. Anyway, have a great day.
ReplyDeleteI say woos' mom forgot to plant it. Woos would never do mischeivious things like that. ;)
ReplyDeleteJune
BOL!
ReplyDeleteRoxy prunes our plants and vetoes some that are put in. Looks like you have a resident garden design guy, too. We said guy, because we're thinkin' Lightning had something to do with it.

ReplyDeleteWe are certain it was a mishap???
Happy Monday and be safe from wicked weathers!!!
I think those plants just walked away on their own!
ReplyDeleteyou are a dog of discerning taste Phantom and basically anything green is inedible - unless you are the dweeb who loves browsing on all things green
ReplyDeleteUm....I couldn't IMAGINE who could have nibbled on your plant. Nope. Not a clue. I thinks it was a bunny. YUPS! That's it! A BUNNY!
ReplyDelete(Lightning, hide, I gots this....)

OMD, you have a roving flower thief?! It's a good thing you Woos were there to run him off and defend the rest of your plants bravely.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm seems like a wee bit of mischief to me! BOL But I am reminded of the saying "innocent until proven guilty" hahaha! This one will be tough to prove!!! Have a PAWsome day my Siberific pals!

How interesting that you can plant basil to discourage the plants being nibbled on! By pests or doggies (or The Pest?), I wonder...
ReplyDeleteI wasn't wondering, Phantom, but I sure am happy you popped out to say so to us! You are as handsome and adorable as ever.
Melon
Maybe a snail was there, or those evil birds? I think sometimes plant's can disappear, that's common.... and there was no doggy involved, that's for sure. Have a super great day!
ReplyDeleteDid a naughty squiggle nibble your plants??
ReplyDeleteDefinitely must have been eaten by flies.....
ReplyDeleteDip and Elliot x
hahaha.. a big mystery!
ReplyDeleteMomo & Pinot
Hi there, I bet you had some squirrel or rabbit in your yard that ate them. Of course, maybe you were baking and needed it. They sure are pretty though.
ReplyDeleteWags,
Noreen & Hunter
Aw you must have the same possums we have here in Oz, hehehe. Pretty pots. Lucky your mum has some photos in case those pesky possums nibble on some more! No worries, and love, Stella and Rory (expert gardeners too).
ReplyDeleteHmmm, we have never eaten flowers before! But we sure do love to eat grass!
ReplyDeleteMight be the same Northern breed instinct that caused several of the tulips at OUR house to have their beautiful colorful heads eaten!
ReplyDeleteBawahwhahhwha you are so naughty and I lub'z it. Hope Mommy had a super Mothers day xxoxxx
