Sunday is for Family




And we ARE family.


Do you have that earworm thingie going on now?




We would like to ask you all for some of that magical POTP for another family member, sweet Gypsy.  She is the furry who lives with the three grandbipeds who spend a lot of time with us.



Gypsy is 11 now, but this photo is from about four years ago.  She has been a pretty healthy pup all of her long life, so it was a bit of a surprise last Thursday when she wouldn't get up or eat.  The vet gave her a good exam and said her tummy felt very stiff and hard.  So off to the x-ray room she went.



Such a happy girl she is!!!  She always has a great big smile for everyone.  After some x-rays and bloodwork, it seems that an ultrasound was in order.  The ultrasound was done yesterday, but the final report will come after the radiologist sees it.  Initial indications show a large mass in her abdomen in the area of her gall bladder and spleen.  Her spleen is grossly enlarged.  The evil "C" word has come into play. The family will learn more after the radiologist reviews the ultrasound.  It is not sounding very hopeful for Gypsy, and we know her family, especially the kids, will have a very hard time.   So if you could spare a few good thoughts for Gypsy and her family, it would be greatly appreciated.
