Make that Turkey JERKY Thursday!!! The Momster has been talking and talking about getting one of these FOREVER.
And she finally did it!!!
She also got one of these - makes it SO much easier to make the jerky strips using one of these guns.
Just plain ole ground turkey, no spices, nothing added at all.
With practice she should get better at making the strips look nicer. But we don't care - we just want to EAT it.
Now for the drying process.
WHAT??? I have to wait 8 hours for it to be done. That's like an ETERNITY!!! By then maybe I can make both of my eyes green for GO get it.
Hasn't it been 8 hours YET???

ReplyDeleteA Jerky Gun! That's a new one. Eight hours is a long time. So you'll have to get her to keep putting in more batches every 8 hours so you don't run out--or have to wait!
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, we are gonna show our dad that jerky gun! Way cool. he has a little smoker to dry the jerky, bet he would love that jerky gun!

Wow is all I can say! You'll sure enjoy the turkey jerky and know that it is pure meat with no additives. I made Hunter some meatballs last night and he loved them but was up a lot during the night-so not sure if I should give them to him again.
