Thursday Thankfulness and Some Thoughts

UPDATE  to what follows:  Ciara would not tell the vet where she hurt.  Not a sound, not a whimper.  Just a limp.  Vet is pretty sure Mom is right about the shoulder.  Deramaxx and rest for a few days.  If not better by Monday, we will have to talk about x-rays.  Vet is hesitant to do x-rays if not needed because of risk sedation can have on a seizure dog.  So here's hoping rest is the answer.


Thankful that these two are so good with and for each other.

Thankful that Ciara FINALLY for the first time since Phantom left us made her way into her crate this morning.  At the same time, a little concerned that she is stressed about her leg.  We have an appointment with the vet this afternoon.  Mom is thinking it is just a soft tissue injury in her shoulder, but after more than 24 hours with little sign of improvement, it is time to check things out.

    It is good that they are such good buddies, Maggie and gussie are the good buddies around here, I am usually left out so I pal around wif my mom.

    You can see they really love each other. Hope Ciara's leg turns out to be nothing serious. My dogs have had the same kind of thing and limped for a few days and everything was fine.

    It seems like almost every week someone is limping. Usually after some Rimadyl and some rest, they're good as new. Hope this is just a minor 'rest it' injury.

    Lightning and Ciara look like they are having a great time together keeping watch on the kingdom of Woos, I am sending power of the paw to Ciara hope the dogtor gives you some good news, its so hard to keep us doggies still to rest our legs and things when we get hurt, there is just too much going on to rest!     Love the story about the cat. Bet it doesn't come back or at least they will keep the cat inside.
    Ciara, I hope they can find some nice medicine for you. Probably just need to rest a little longer. We sure send you lots of purrs and we know that Phantom won't mind if the donkeys become your now. So they send their Hee Haws to you.

    I have finally had some time to stop, do a post and visit our furiends. I am so,so sorry about Phantom AND that I'm weeks late in finding out. 😟

    And poor Ciara. I know it must be hard and I sure hope it's not anything much. Our paws are crossed.
