What sort of silly game is this supposed to be?
Mom, why are the chairs turned backwards? And are those flower pots really supposed to be up there on the table?
And what is all that blue stuff on the floor???
Did you guess it was time to clean and restain the wood on the deck? It has been a long process with all the rain. With more rain forecast for the next 87 gazillion days, will it ever be finished?
Oh, this is the corner Mom doesn't want me to show you - somePup thought the rails needed a Siberan carving touch. And no, it wasn't just ME - it's been like this for a few years. Well, maybe not quite this bad.
Mom wanted to replace all the rails and get a new floor (the composite is getting harder and harder to keep clean), but Dad says not yet - he is hoping for a new deck "one of these years", as he often is known to say:)

I hope it stops raining so they can get it fixed up. I love the artful carvings, it gives the railing character.

Very strange. Things aren't supposed to move around......we think Sibe carvings make it unique.
ReplyDeleteI tried that Siberan carving touch on the coffee table...that wasn't appreciated either.
ReplyDeleteWhats wrong with these peeps, can't they appreciate art????
Loves and licky kisses

Looks like you've made it purrfect so we can't figure out why your mom wants to change your deck? Humans are weird! Enjoy the mud puddles while you can!
ReplyDeleteThe rails with the Siberan carvings are the most special!
ReplyDeletewe are still waiting for some rain to come our way...they keep promising but nothing yer
ReplyDeleteAt least you has a deck...dad tore mine down and now i has a million and one steps to go down. Man is coming next week to build a new one. I wonders if your mom would likes to come stain ours.
ReplyDeletePuddles
We thought they were playing Musical Chairs... WRONG... Butt now we understand... We think the Sibe Carvings would make your deck UNIQUE.
ReplyDeleteWe hope the rains stop soon...so the deck can get finished and you can get back to your carving efforts....ummmmmm, or maybe not the carving thing. BOL!

I thought the same like Frankie&Ernie, maybe a new kind of musical chairs... but I hope the weather gets better that you can finsish your deck and it is ready for two sibes soon :o)

We like the artistic tough you Woos carved on the deck. We hope it all gets done soon. We are sending the sun out there to see you. You all have a great day and a better week end.
ReplyDeleteThat rain sure messes up lots of stuff. Have a fun weekend sweet friends!
ReplyDeleteAs long as the rain keeps coming, there will be no disruption in your DECK TIME! As for the "decorating" in the corner on the rails? I say you did a lovely job of carving.... that's not easy to do!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sammy
WELL QUITE FRANKLY WOOS I KINDA LIKE THE BLUE TAPE ON THE EDGE OF THE DECK. IS SAY LEAVE IT AND I BET YOU'LL START A WOO TREND.
ReplyDeleteHUGS MADI YOUR BFFF
PS DID YOU NOTICE THAT I PURPOSELY DID NOT MENTION THE WOO CARVING...'CAUSE ANY KINDA OF CARVING WITH CLAWS OR DAGGERS IS KIND OF A SORE SUBJECT HERE. IT REMINDS MOM OF THE TIME I CHEWED ON THE FINIAL ON THE GRANDFATHER CLOCK...
ReplyDeleteMADI
Looks like you have a beaver problem more than a husky one hahahahahahahaahahah!!!! Sheesh!!! I bet the deck will look great once it gets finished!

ReplyDeleteOh, oh! Be careful to stay away from the deck for a while.
ReplyDeleteYour deck will look great after a lick of stain.

It looks fine to us....that railing just needed some Woo adjustments!
ReplyDeleteThe Mad Scots
Howdy Woos. Good luck with the staining of the deck. It looks like a wonderful place to watch the world go by on a nice summer day. Woo carving? Nah, nope, we see nothing there, hehehe. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
ReplyDeleteHa! We were also thinking musical chairs!! NOW we get it! Have fun in the mud while you can!! :)
ReplyDeletexo Chloe and LadyBug
What is it with the humans moving chairs. Mom decided our porch needed sweeping today. We had just got all the sticks and stuffs we wanted up there too.
ReplyDeleteThe rain is endless, isn't it? I hope you get a break and can finish that deck! And, of course, we wouldn't suspect you, Lightning! You have such innocent eyes.
ReplyDeleteMy grandma Laura was good at carving but I didn't learn the trick from her as she left us when I was such a puppy. So can you please teach me how to do that beautiful carving?
ReplyDeleteCiara and Lightning-
ReplyDeleteHey, we have some railings that look very similar. Now we know why...Siberian Carvers, thanks for the info.
