We had a wild night!!! Lots of wind, thunder, lightning (not ME Lightning), AND rain, rain, rain!!!
Things are a lot calmer this morning, but last night's 80 m.p.h. winds shook the house and even set off our security alarm system.
This is what we did while Mom was checking all the doors to figure out why the alarm went off. The lights flickered on and off a few times. Mom finally gave up on resetting the clocks until this morning.
We are still having some storms, but the worst has passed. We didn't have any damage to our property, but there are lots of power outages and trees down across the KC metro area. We hope you all stay safe as the storms move across the country.
Woos - Ciara and Lightning

Ooh, I hate the alarm! Ours went off yesterday because sleepy Momma furgot to turn it off before letting Jessie out in the morning! Ooops!
ReplyDeleteOh Woos that must have been a rough night for you all. High winds scare us too. We are very thankful all the tall pines have been removed from around our house though. I don't like tstorms and all that comes with them. It appears that same storm might be here tomorrow. We have lots of doom and gloom in our forecast for Saturday......and my peeps are supposed to be at a family reunion which is outside. We keep hoping it will be postponed.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I will say is in spite of the weather you two Woos are looking quite gorgeous today.'
