Mom is working on a project with our human sisters to make no-sew fleece blankets for the kids at Children's Mercy Hospital. We thought it would be nice to lend a helping paw as well.
For some reason, Mom wasn't very appreciative of our work.
What do you mean it is hard to square off the material when we are lying on it? We are just making sure it is soft enough for those sweet children.
Mom had an extra piece of this fabric so she let me put it on the coolaroo bed - trust me, it is SOOOOOOOO very SOFT!!! Thanks, Mom.

My boys are just as helpful, thinking they always need to be right in the thick of things. I did a bit of Christmas shopping this evening and am dreading having to wrap everything because Shiver and Chico will be laying on stuff, putting their noses in all the bags and getting hair everywhere. But honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way! ha ha
ReplyDeleteIt's on the floor, you can lie on it! That's our rules.
ReplyDeleteHow could Mom not appreciate your efforts pressing the fleece???
ReplyDeleteWhat is it wiv peeps not understanding us lending a helping paw?
I do finks your Momma is very kind, those fleeces do look very snuggly and comfy

I agree... efurry blankie needs a blankie-tester :o) and there is no sewing included? that would be the diy-project for my mom... the sewing-machine is her enemy for all eternity hehehe
ReplyDeleteMom's lucky to have such hardworking testers, to help. I hope the payment, in bones, will be worth the effort.
ReplyDeletePS
We are finally able to log into our blogger feed after I don't know how long! I hope it continues to work. We've missed you!
We are sure that any fabric that has been "floofilated" by you is much better than anything else!
ReplyDeleteWoofs,
Tommy

Oh, you two do us Working Breeds PROUD!!! I'm sure your mom really did appreciate your efforts - or else she wouldn't have given you that piece for your coolaroo bed! Sometimes moms have a hard time expressing their appreciation; I know that's the case here, anyway!
ReplyDeleteDon't work too hard!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
