Today we are joining Dory and her Blog Hop for Flower Friday.
On Wednesday we got a special delivery addressed to us - "Ciara and Lightning".
It was a very BIG box, and look, Lightning wasn't afraid of it - surprise, surprise!
"Why would I be afraid of THIS box when I can smell some of my good pals' fabulous scent on it? There just HAS to be something good inside."
Silly Mom slit the box open and cut the nice note inside into two pieces.
You might not be able to read the not unless you can bigify the photo. But it has some sweet words on it for our Mom from Deb - The Three Little Pugs (and that Mama Cat Wienie)'s Mom.
You see, a few weeks ago, Mom saw ANOTHER one of those beautiful wreaths that Deb has made and found out that Deb could make one for US too. So Mom and Deb conferred about colors and size and flowers and all that good stuff so Ms. Deb could get an idea of what Mom was looking for.
And LOOK at what Ms. Deb created - it's is EXACTLY what Mom wanted - and MORE!!!
Isn't it just gorgeous, beautiful, fabulous, pretty, fantastic, and awesome!!! The photo does not do it justice. Let us show you some of the special details that Ms. Deb added.
A delicate dragonfly resting on a pretty bit of mesh.
A bumble bee hovering around the pretty flower buds.
The cutest little bird's nest complete with an egg.
This lovely garden tag with an antiqued look.
Very dainty and delightful flower buds.
And a beautiful fluttering butterfly -
Princess Leah would love this.
Here is a closeup of it on our front door. Mom wanted pink and green tones so that it will blend nicely with our porch flower pots once it is warm enough to put them out.
Here is another cool feature - the wreath even looks great from the back!!! So many times Mom has a wreath on the door that looks ugly from the back - NOT this one:)
Here is a brighter look as Mom propped the door open a bit to get better light for the photo.
TA-DAH!!!
We want to thank Ms. Deb for the beautiful creation she made for our Mom. If you would like one too, just pop over to visit Stella Rose, Maggie Mae, and Gussie (and OK, Wienie too) right HERE and leave them a message. Ms. Deb will work well with you. And if you visit her Etsy shop HERE, you can see more examples of her lovely work.
Now we think Mom should get Ms. Deb to make another one for the back door:)
And let's not forget to treat our treasure with respect on this special day.
Happy Earth Day!
