During the month of June, we have been invited by Chewy.com to take part in a food challenge with a product by Stella and Chewy - Chewy's Chicken Dinner Patties. First a little about the company Stella and Chewy's:
From their website, here is their mission statement:
"We believe that selecting the best food is one of the most important decisions an owner can make for their furry companions. Stella and Chewy's was built on the philosophy that pets thrive when they're fed the same diet they would find in the wild. We believe they deserve premium raw ingredients like grass-fed meat, cage free poultry and wild-caught fish; because we believe that unconditional nutrition is as important as unconditional love."
You can read more about the company and how they came to be by visiting their website HERE.
This all sounds quite wonderful to me. Now let's see the goods!
There we go! We received not one, but TWO, big bags of Chewy's Chicken Dinner Patties.

Okay, Mom, now that you have gotten all those details out of the way, can we have some?
Look - we have TWO bags, one for each of us, right?
Mom's turn now: Well, Ciara and Lightning, this is the deal. We have the month of June to test this product and it will only be Lightning doing the testing. Ciara, you know you have a sensitive tummy and change is not always easy for you. Given all the other things you have going on, I don't want to take a chance on changing your diet. I may let you have a taste or two here and there, but Lightning will be doing the main testing.
Huh??? That doesn't seem fair to me - you MUST be going to give me lots of extra treats, right?
No worries, Ciara, I will be sure to let you know how good these chicken patties are!!!
We will tell you more about these chicken patties in another post in a week or so. We have always wanted to try a raw food diet, so this sounds like a good way to try it. Thanks to Chewy.com and Ms. Sydney. We received this product at no cost to us from Chewy.com in exchange for a fair and honest review.
