Every day we give thanks for all that we have been blessed with in our life. But Thursday is a good day to single out some special reasons.
Misty - you've got MAIL!!!
And not just any old mail, but ROYAL mail!!! AND from royalty in the furs - Princess Leah the Cavalier.
Look, Mom, Leah sent me my own flutterbye!!!

Sealed with a pawprint of the Princess - thank you so much, Leah - such a sweet gesture.
But wait, then we ALL got more mail. Angel Greta and her Mom sent us one of Angel Greta's special pins to commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness month. Yes, that month was October and this is now November, but October was not such a good month here. We are so grateful to Angel Greta and her Mom for sending us one of these amazing pins.
EVERY day of the year should be a day for all peeps to be aware of the dangers of breast cancer and be willing to do all they can to support the cause of awareness and finding a cure.
Mom has placed our pin on her purse/handbag/pocketbook (that is for Madi's Mom:) so she will never forget how important this issue is. Many thanks to Angel Greta for giving us a great way to spread the word.
Misty also has more reason to be thankful today too. She is very thankful for finding such a great big brother as she did with Lightning.
Mom says he is just so incredibly patient with Misty. She is never very far from him. And when he decides to pick a toy or a bone to gnaw on, of course, that is just what she is wanting too.
Misty is very good at turning on the cutesy factor:) as she tries to get his attention.
Doing her darndest to distract him.
Finally, an opportunity presents itself.
Who will get the prize???
You guessed it - Lightning always gives in to his new best pal.
This is one of two heavily used/chewed dinosaur bones that were Ciara's favorite chew toys.
"I sure do miss that sweet Ciara. But I believe she had a paw in finding Misty for me. As much of a pest as she can be, I am vrey thankful I have her here with me."
"And Mom helped me find the other dinosaur bone:)."
"That should keep her busy for a while."

Mum was dreading visiting here cause she just knew what the bad might be and was hoping and hoping but ..... no ..... it was meant to be I guess. We have been back over all of your posts and there were MANY tears but there were also many smiles. Good and Bad. Such true words. We just wanted to say how very sorry we were to hear of Ciara's passing to the rainbow bridge and we also wanted to welcome little Misty. what a Sweetheart and how wonderful that Lightning has accepted her so well. Such a lot to be thankful for. Dear, sweet Ciara ...... she will always be sadly missed. We are so thankful that we got to know her. Our love to you all.

Oh what a nice THANKFUL post! We all have a lot to be thankful for if we just stop and think about it. Sometimes we forget but we are lucky because we have a loving home and each other. I think Misty REALLY enjoys being close to her new big brother and he enjoys having her company too. What a GREAT thing it is to have someone to share things with. We love your Breast Cancer Awareness button. We wish cancer would just GO AWAY!

Princess Leah is the sweetest pup in the world! And so thoughtful too. We're all so glad you have Misty in your lives now! And talk about pesky little sisters! Ghostwriter says that when Miss Ginger was little, she used to wait on the stairs and pounce on old Charisma when she walked by! Of course I would NEVER have done something like that when I was a pup! What's that? Oh ghostwriter says she used to let Joey dog sleep in her and Dad's room so I would stop pestering him to play at night! Yipes!
