Today I had my second puppy checkup at that nice V.E.T. place. They are all so very nice to me there. Mom says they poked me with the needle a few times, but I was so busy licking up the yummy stuff they smeared on the exam table that I never even noticed.
It's only been a month since we posted this pic of me sitting in the laundry basket. Those nice peeps at the V.E.T. place told Mom I now weigh 17.2 lbs., up about 4 1/2 lbs. from last month. I am a growing girl. Do you think I can still fit in the laundry basket?
This is a different one that holds some of my toys. Let's see if this is going to work.
Yep, I can still get in here, but I am not so sure I can sit:)
I got a great report from Dr. C. and she even said I was a good girl while they clipped my toenails. I don't have to go back now until January when they say I am going to get "fixed". Huh? What's wrong with me that needs fixing???
Since I have been such a good puppy, and Lightning has been a very good big brother, Mom decided to reward us with something new for ME - look what she made.
Sweet Potato Treats!!! I wonder if I will like them.
I know, I still look pretty small next to Lightning.
Lightning tells me, "Just sit pretty, little one, and try to learn to smile - a good photoshoot results in great rewards."
I must say those sweet potato chips were absolutely pawesome.
Can we both please have some more?

What a grreat growing girl you are! Don't worry about the "fixing". It's just fixing that silly thing that would make you have a whole bunch of puppies -- there are enough unwanted dogs in the world, that's a GOOD thing to fix!

You'll have to use that basket as a scale of your growth. We have a photo of Dui in the laundry tub we use.
