Mom is really freaking me out today!!!
She says I have to practice wearing this bizarre contraption because next week I have to get "fixed". Huh??? Fixed??? What is wrong with me? And how is this thing going to help?
Woos - Misty
We also wanted to remember Jamison who sadly lost his very courageous battle to survive. Jamison was Noodles kitty sibling. Soft woos and gentle hugs to his family from all of us.
You can visit Jamison's family HERE.
You are perfect as you are Misty :)
ReplyDeleteThey do it early over there. The vet told us 3 months after Cricket's first season.

My vet says that I get to keep my jewels until I'm a year old. We will cross our paws that everything goes perfectly smooth for you, Misty.
ReplyDeleteWe are so sad for Jamison's family.
Being fixed doesn't sound very nice now does it. Wishing you POTP with your surgery and recovery.
ReplyDeleteOh Dear. It's that time already, Misty? With that thing, you should be able to receive messages from the outer planets...
ReplyDeleteWe did not know Jamison but we are sorry you lost your friend.
Woofs,
Tommy
Oh boy. Getting fixed when you're not even broken and then having to wear a cone of shame. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteWe really LIKED Jamison... He was Quite the Cat.
ReplyDeleteNow about this ... Fixing thingy... that is another way of our peeps to say that you are going to have a WhoWhoectomy. We think it is a GOOD idea to have you Practice wearing the Cone of Shame... so you will be prepared fur when you NEED it...
We think you are perfect just the way you are but Millie says being "fixed" was no big deal. We hope you are a good girl and don't have to wear the cone of shame.
ReplyDeletePractice with the collar is a good plan! So many pups freak out when they furst wear it. Don't worry a bit about seeing the dogtor. You're not broken, but they're going to fix things so you don't ever have to worry about puppies. Isn't that pawesome??
ReplyDeleteMaybe she could buy you a blow up donut for your neck. We never see mom's wearing that thing
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
what means fixed? and why you need such a parachute around your head? has it something to do with flying?
ReplyDeleteHi Misty,
ReplyDeleteOh no the dreaded cone of shame, I have been there little girl, wishing you Power Of The Paw with your 'fixing' and a healthy speedy recovery for you.
Love and licks from your Woo Brother Frank xxxxxx
Fixed??? My mom says I'll be "fixed" when I'm done being a show dog, and it sounds scary!
ReplyDeleteJamison was a brave house panther who fought very hard...he was loved to bits too
ReplyDeleteMisty darlin' I hear you loud and clear.....you are purrfect you are not broken so what is up with fixin'? Dang as they say if it ain't broke don't fix it!! Ahhh alas such is life the 2 leggers feel the need to fix us and we know they are in charge. It has been over 14 3/4 years since I was fixed so I can't remember much except one crazy thing the Vet said to mom when she came to get me the next day. Are you ready? He looked mom straight in the eyes and said, 'don't let her jump for 10 days'. Mom look him straight in the eyes and said...'you do know she is a cat right? Unless I put her in a cage she will jump! And as expected I jump with joy when I got home and have not quit jumping since.
Hugs and good luck Madi your bfff
Good luck Misty!
ReplyDeleteIt is best not to know. Wishing you all the best with this thing we shall not talk about
ReplyDeletePractising with the collar of shame? That's a new one.
ReplyDeleteWell Misty, at least that is one fancy collar. You will be even happier after you are fixed even if your aren't broken. It is what all animals have to go through or should go through anyway. At least you get a nice fancy collar to wear. You all have a great week end.
ReplyDeleteNot to worry sweetie, all will be okay!!!
ReplyDeleteOh.... oh, I remember that! Yeah. "Getting fixed." I wasn't broken, either, but there you go. Anyway, if you look sad enough and promise not to mess with your stitches, you might get some relief from wearing the party hat. My mom did that for me, provided she was watching me.
ReplyDeleteYour mom is super smart to have you practice wearing it!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
you poor baby. That has to be the WORST "cone of shame" I have ever seen..eeek.......
ReplyDeleteDakotasDen
Misty the hardest part about getting fixed was have to stay quiet. I know you will do just fine
ReplyDeletehugs
Mabel
oh my Misty. You are gonna hate that cone but it will help you heal lots faster. purrs sweet girl
ReplyDeleteRuh roh, Misty. Don't worry - there's nothing wrong with you. You'll understand the contraption better later. Wishing you well on the big day.
ReplyDeleteI gotted "fixed" on last Monday. I had to wear a doughnut around my neck. Sheesh. Today I went for a walk. Ain't no big thing, Misty. You'll be fine!
ReplyDelete-Osa
We bet you do great, Misty!!!
ReplyDeleteWe were also sad that Jamison went to the bridge :-(
Oh boys....or gurls..whatevs. Wells, at least you gets to try it out and practice catchin' treaties in it! OH, and when you bark...WOOOOOWSA! like a megaphone!
ReplyDeleteI'll be keepin' my paws crossed that they don't take anythings they don't need to like your tail....hehehehe
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
UHOH......well, I guess this means you're "growing up" Misty and I think you just need to be a brave girl when Mom "fixes" you. You have Lightning to take care of you so just trust that this is the BEST thing OK?
ReplyDeleteLove, Angel Sammy
We think you are purrfect just the way you are, but being fixed is a good thing. Paws crossed all goes well and you don't have to wear the cone long.
ReplyDeleteYou rock that collar Misty - And the reason you're wearing it means you are truly growing up! ❤ You will do wonderfully, and so many of us will be sending lots of love, prayers and good vibes that it all goes well.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry about Jamison too
