Today would have been Thunder Dunder's 11th birthday. He left us at the very young age of 7 on July 1, 2013.
April 28, 2006 - July 1, 2013
TD had simply beautiful blue eyes encircled by that black eyeliner:)
Sir Thunder Dunder was always a good sport about pleasing Mom with her silly costumes. He actually won First Prize for this photo both on a blog contest and at a local pet store.
A beautiful smile on the boy who loved life.
Surrounded by his pack on one of his last days with us. He got along with everyone he met, and he loved to have fun.
He sure did enjoy those tasty treats in Mom's paws.
But mostly he loved his half sister, Angel Ciara. TD and Ciara had the same champion Siberian Husky Dad Mel. They were always together. Interestingly, all of Ciara's woes began shortly after Thunder left us.
The inseparable Duo. He was adored by Ciara.
Mom's handsome boy!
We miss you, buddy, but we bet you were thrilled to see Angel Ciara arrive to join you across the Rainbow Bridge. You are forever in our hearts. Happy Birthday, Thunder!
Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Mom

Wishing you a pawsome Rainbow Bridge B. Day Thunder. Mom agrees it's heartbreaking when one of our furbabies makes their journey to Rainbow Bridge. She still gets teary eyed thinking about her first Dachshund Penny.
ReplyDeleteSending you hugs and sloppy weenie girl kisses on this difficult day.

ReplyDeleteOh TD..............your blue eyes were for sure the mirror to your beautiful Woo Soul. To have left your pack so young was heartbreaking. I guess we forgot that you and Ciara had the same dad. You and Ciara shared DNAs and a true and lasting sibling love.
ReplyDeleteIn our minds we picture you to sitting together as you were in the 3rd photo from the last.
Until we meet again Hugs madi your bfff
That was nowhere near enough time to be together. He is a beautiful dog. Sending you loves and hugs on this sad day.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful boy and what wonderful memories!
ReplyDeleteOh my, what a handsome boy Thunder Dunder was, his eyes are so soul-filled and leave little doubt that he was a boy of great intelligence and character. I'm just so sorry that he left you much too soon, and we did not get the chance to know him better. I'm sure his birthday is being celebrated at the Rainbow Bridge as he is greatly missed and remembered here today.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful boy, we also miss him and we are glad he was there to welcome Dory when she earned her angel wings!
ReplyDeleteWe cannot believe it has been this long since TD left. He was such a wonderful boy in every possible way. He clearly needed to be with Ciara and we are glad in our sadness that they are now together again.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful birthday tribute to Thunder. Sounds like he was an extra special boy! RosyPoodleKisses to heaven for Thunder and Ciara!
ReplyDeleteThat was a wonderful memory-filled post about Thunder. It's so hard when they leave us early, and a birthday marks an age that they easily could have lived to. I've been there so I know how that hurts.
ReplyDeleteWhat loving and trusting eyes he had. That's true of all of your dogs - so perhaps it's a refection of the love that you shower on them.
We miss you, Thunder.
