Thankful Thursday
Today we are joining Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
We have so many things to be thankful for that we could probably do a post every day on our gratitude.
We (and Mom) are very thankful that we have each other. We make a great pack, each with something special to bring to the party:)
Misty is very glad that she has her little brother but wonders how much longer they will both fit on the hearth. She thinks Timber might have to find a different snoozing spot :)
And Timber says "raspberries to that thought:)
At least the big guy Lightning prefers his coolaroo.
And of course, Misty still really enjoys a quiet snooze next to the dryer.
Speaking of Misty, she is very thankful to all of you for your good wishes and thoughts for her after her bad reaction to vaccines. She is doing pretty well although Mom isn't sure she is 100% Misty yet. Her level of interest in playtime with Timber needs a big boost, and she seems to be looking for more quiet time than usual. Mom is trying not to get too worried about her, but we did have some vomiting early this morning. Misty and Mom have a late afternoon appointment with the vet again just to check things out. Misty wants to ask you to do a little bit of paw crossing for all to be just fine.

You all look so cozy and purrs to you sweet Misty. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post on you Woos. We love how you are all there in the living room. I agree that hearth is getting crowded.
ReplyDeleteMisty I'm sure hoping the vet gives you the all clear at the vet today.
Those were some bad shots. Sending loads of kitty kisses

I want you to be 100%, Misty! Paws are crossed!
ReplyDeleteThat is a funny place for you both to sleep, kind of like an elf on shelf?
ReplyDeleteOne of my Shelties had a bad reaction to a vaccine once, after the reaction he had to have Benadryl before and after his vaccines and could only get one at a time.

ReplyDeletePOTP? No probs! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
You pups look so cute all lined up for naps. Ghostwriter is reminded of the times when there were three doggies in our house and we used to all sleep on the couch. Lately I've been stealing ghostwriter's spot on the couch and pushing her pillow on the floor.
ReplyDeleteLove your entire pack, but especially Misty! Praying that she is fine!!! Hunter had an off night last night and was outside-when he came in, he was shivering so I kept him tucked into me and tried to warm him up.
ReplyDeleteSending love your way!
Noreen and Hunter
You two look so cute sleeping on the hearth together. We will keep our paws crossed for you Misty.
ReplyDeleteWe would be grateful to live with such wonderful pups. POTP for you Misty.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon Misty

We are late reading about Misty too! Didn't realize there was a problem with the shots! I was a nervous wreck bringing Romeo and Juliet in for their shots the other day. In fact, the vet wouldn't give Romeo his...due to these severe allergies we are dealing with. We send lots and lots of POTP that Misty will be feeling better really soon!! It is just terrible when they are not feeling well. For now, Romeo is on prednisone and antibiotics...again. Still can't figure out what exactly he is allergic to. The photos of all of them together are so sweet...the perfect PACK!
ReplyDeleteyour pawrents need a bigger Fireplace... beclaws efurry fireplays needs two artpieces to make it special. we hope you are back to 100% misty soon... and all after- and sideeffects will run away from you furever...
ReplyDeletePaws crossed, Misty! And uh-oh, we see a little hearth battle coming soon! BOL.
ReplyDeleteWe sure hope Misty feels better real soon!

Catching up on your blog and all about your girl, Misty. I'm so sorry that you've had such a rough few days with her. I'm glad she's feeling a bit better, and I so, so hope that your day is ending on a good note with her (hopefully no more vomiting). We're sending lots of POTP, and our very, very best vibes for Misty tomorrow is a better day for her than today. Take care, and know that you are all, especially Misty, is being thought of!!!
ReplyDeleteMisty we are sending tons of POTP for you dear girl - we hope you will get over that awful reaction to the vaccines soon and hope your vet visit turns out JUST FINE!
ReplyDeleteThere's much to be thankful for - knowing you are AOK would be just one more thing!
Hugs, Teddy
We are just now seeing this and are so very sorry to hear that Misty had a bad reaction to vaccines. Fenris doesn't do well with the rabies vaccine so we give it separately and the veterinarian gives him some medication to help with it. We have our paws crossed Misty will be 100% soon and of course the cats are sending healing purrs.
