Thankful Thursday

We always have so many things for which we are thankful - a good home, good food, warm beds, lots of treats, loving parents, and lots of great friends. Let's see if we can find some other reasons to be thankful as we join Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Well, let's see - I am VERY thankful and happy to report that my awful scab is finally starting to break apart and small pieces are falling off.  I still have a way to go, but I think I am finally on my way.  Hopefully when I get home from my weekend getaway to the vet's for boarding, I will be cone-free.  I sure am hoping that is the case.

Hey, Misty and Lightning - I see something out there that I know we are thankful for.  It has started to snow!!!!  It isn't sticking to the grass yet, but I do see some on the shrubs.

Can we all go outside, please?  We need something else to be thankful for.  Running in that wet grass would be so much fun.  We understand, Lightning can't go running anywhere, but you can take him out the front door and let him roam around the lawn and find some good smells out there.  We are sure he would be thankful for that too. And of course, we are all thankful for those yummy pumpkin treats in your human paws, Mom.

OK, Mom, so we are having a hard time being thankful for what we are seeing here.  Those bags mean you are going away and WE are going to weekend camp.  Let's see - we are thankful you get to go watch the dancerina Ms. C. dance the weekend away in Dallas.  We are thankful you will get to see the Texas grandson.  We are thankful for the good care we will get while you are gone (but we still don't want to go:)

We are thankful we got through this post.  We think we deserve some extra treats for all that cooperation.

We have a few posts prescheduled.  Mom promised to try to visit your blogs while she is away, but please understand if she doesn't have time to comment.  We will be back Monday.

Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  5. I think you should take a blog break until you get back. The pressure is awful. I know because my weekends at the boat can be very stressful.

Have a great time. Scritches to all the pups and especially Lightening. ♥

  17. Charlee: "Hello Woos!"
Chaplin: "Before he left, Dennis told us we had to come here and say that at least once!"
Charlee: "He also told us how much you all like snow! He never saw it himself but he explained to us that it was cold and slippery."
Chaplin: "I don't think we would like it."
Charlee: "No, probably not. But we hope you get some there so you can play in it, and that your cone comes off soon, Lightning!"
Chaplin: "And we send purrs for your mom to have a fun trip!"
