Meet PIPER!!!
They say birds of a feather flock together, but I am not too sure about these guys - they don't look much like birds to me.
But they sure are very interested in me.
This one - they call him Timber - he leapfrogged with one giant leap from the floor to the top of that lower counter. Mom just about freaked out and said he has NEVER done that before. I thought he was just trying to give me a snooter to beak welcome.
Oh wait, there is a third one, the girl named Misty. She is even smiling at me!!!
Here's one more shot of me before I go. I have two resting places in my new home. This one surrounded by the whole family. And then when Mom can't keep an eye of those furry ones, I stay in an upstairs bedroom with the doors closed. Rumor has it that the furry ones aren't allowed in the bedrooms:) I will be back another day. Nice to meet you.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Piper Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh you are gorgeous...not only because I'm a fan of red either. You are simply gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a fine feathered friend like you. I'm a back yard bird watcher too and lover of fevvers.
Leaping Timber What were you thinking or not? Timber I am stunned yes somewhat impressed by your skills. I love the photo of the Wooful tushies spying on you. Maybe when things settled down you can sing us a song.
Hugs and gentle head strokes. I look forward to hearing more and seeing more of you
Hugs Cecilia

Welcome to Blogville Piper. You sure are handsome. We're not surprised by the Woo's greeting (especially Timber's) as we would probably react in a similar fashion if we had a birdie in our house.

You have a bird in your HOUSE?!!! What kind of craziness and torture is that? I have to live with cats, but I don't think I could live with a bird!
