Thank goodness it was a small tree and only landed in the street. We just had lots of ash trees taken down that were dying from that nasty beetle. Better to take them down then wait to have them fall on the house or on our fence.
We've had some strange weather lately. Yesterday they posted severe storm warnings but all we got was a breeze. Today the wind is whipping around but it's still hot.
we are sorry for your tree... but if you need help with digging a hole for a new one, we are ready and can help you to plant a 100 years ole oak ... or another giant tree
Oh that's so sad.....what a beautiful tree. There sure have been a lot of windy storms this summer and lots and LOTS of tree damage everywhere. Fortunately ours have been OK and since we live with woods around it's a good thing they survived or we might have had a damaged house. I know you'll miss that tree but it looks like Lightning has volunteered to help plant another one!
Oh My! That must have been a crazy storm! Were you all scared? And yes, us huskies can help you all out with digging a VERY big hole to put a new tree into! Just give us a call!
You poor tree! Dig easy Lightning!
ReplyDeleteWOW! We had crazy storms here, too, but fortunately didn't lose any trees!
ReplyDeleteCammie!
PS: Let me know if you need help with that hole, Lightning!
At least you got it out of there before more came down.
ReplyDeleteLightening will help indeed.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to the pups. ♥
Is that a Bradford Pear? Momma says it looks like her old tree that kept doing that in storms too, until she had to just cut down the whole thing!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about your tree, but at least no one was hurt.
ReplyDeleteThat is too bad about the tree. Nature sometimes is cruel. You all have a super day.
