May the Fourth be with ME!!!!

Guess what special day today is?  Yes, you are right - it IS that special day for all Star Wars lovers, like our Dad.  MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!!!

BUT it is another special day - it's MY day too.

That's right - today is MY birthday. Today I am NINE!!!

Mom is very late in getting my post up today because she spent the morning waiting in the parking lot for Dad to come out of another eye appointment.  He is having more problems, and his doctors are baffled.  We keep hoping one of these days he will come home with good news.

So my celebration post will be short.  I wanted to show you a few of my favorite photos from my very first year.

 

Here I am at my breeder's home wondering if she is going to open this gate and bring me to my forever home.

And here I am on my very first day at that forever home.  Yes, I was going through that "big" ear stage.  But wasn't I just so cute?

And then a few months later, here I am with my favorite little human - dancerella C, who isn't so little any more now that she is 13!!!

And now here I am TODAY at NINE years of age!!!  Despite a rough patch for the past year and a half with two blown CCLs, I am still a happy boy.  I don't get around so well any more, and Mom won't let me run (she forgets I am born to run).  But I am so lucky to have a good home, and I never want for anything (except maybe for another treat).

Like how about one of those treats now, Mom???

Timber and I are excited for dinner tonight - well, truth be told, we are always excited for dinner.  But rumor has it that there will be vanilla ice cream with crushed pumpkin cookies on top!!!  AND a Trader Joe big peanut butter treat on the bottom.  We can't wait. 

Timber here - I am wishing my BIG brother a very happy 9th birthday!!!
